I called Betfair to complain and they said "OOOOOOHH OOOOOOHH OOOHHHH AAAAHHH AHHHHH AHHHHHHH"
|
|
By:
It was outrageous.
![]() But we can allways guess on what actually happened. Did somebody lay the draw in the PL matches? or did somebody lay some under goal markets? And they hoped for early scorings, so they could unsuspend the markets and green out? ![]() |

Following the 2nd West Brom goal that was not a goal just before half time they have somehow suspended the market for an eternity as usual then hit customers with the eternity of 12 seconds following unsuspension so by now it could easily be at least a minute from when the market was suspended yet unbelievably they still post that West Brom are winning 2-1 when that is obviously not the case and still 1-1,how can this be allowed to happen from this organisation,i looked at the betting graphs following this episode and saw that several hundred pounds were traded on the match result markets with the incorrect score, this is a disgrace but betfair never post on there service page oops we made a mistake yet again or is it indeed a mistake ?

Betfair Dark Forces at work.
The Sportsbook was not suspended for any of these matches so it looks like Betfair are looking to maximise their position on the Exchange. If the monkey can unsuspend for the Spudsbook then why not the Exchange? This place is finito |

Correct, but there's no plausible reason why one is suspended and the other not.

And the prices on the Sportsbook following the disallowed goal were no doubt the true prices yet why when the exchange is linked in to the sportsbook were they allowing blatently false prices getting matched on the exhange,if this had happened on the sportsbook they would of no doubt voided the bets.Fortunately i did not lose out however many customers did.

If Exchange prices are "wrong" because of a disallowed goal then that's the customer's fault for not following the exact information. And this is coming from someone who has many times put money in incorrectly because of false information - to the extent I only trust live pictures / audio.
Sorry, but you can't blame Betfair if someone puts money into a market on an error, be it of their own making or through erroneous data/info. |
