Its time to either walk away from this site for good which is looking likely or everybody with an account with betfair should withdraw their balances to send these a message.
I left betfair because it was failing me. Yesterday they gave me some bonus to bring me back so I just deposit some money moment ago and can't bet. What a fail !!!

They are an absolute disgrace they wont void the markets that customers bet on with the intention of trading out! The site was down for virtually the whole of the Fulham game and stayed suspended for the whole game and didn't go in-play like they said

Brilliant Betfair automatically blank their rival company out. They are rapidly heading down in my estimation.
I played a poker game in London just before Betfair bought the Pokerchamps brand. Every single Betfair employee was under 25. That was when the site worked smoothly, the forum was fun and iea's where fresh. That was around 10 years ago.
The owners sold off and profits became the number 1 priority. All those fresh 25 year ols either left or became stale 35 year olds. The site is only a shadow of what it was before.
This issue is probably trying to squeeze those margins. Only use as much internet as they need, cut those servers and make more money.

What is going on? I am back to betfair after more than a year and I can't recognise this place. Nothing works. They gave me some promo to come back so I did and now I regret. Trading is basically dead with this response time.
they apologise etc, people will moan but it will all be forgotten about until the next time. Its not as frequent as it was but I wouldent be risking high sums with this uncertainty.
So was it worse? Bloody hell. There is no point of risking a fiver unnecessary. That what trading is all about for me. Betfair is added risk at the moment.

Everything works for me at the moment but very slowly. It is not stable platform to bet on (not to mention trade).
Any views on ****? looks working ok, less money on the markets but consider betfair condition that may change soon.

got google chrome but had to log in at least 50 times today.
have had problems with this site all week can't access as i post???!!!!
agree with all the comments below - site still fragile and I am having the same problems for over a week even after the site was restored on Sat afternoon. Using Chrome and virginmedia. Works fine but slowly for a few mins then an attempted bet will hang for a few secs then return as unable to submitt after which I can view but not submit any more bets until I shut chrome down wait 20 secs and log in again. Sometimes even that does not work and I need to reboot. Perhaps we can pool problems and any resolutions.
