Noticed the prices for this look to be generally available whilst skimming through oddschecker this afternoon, any views superbigal? I know you've given us a few good writeups in the past, would appreciate any insight.
Specifically a couple of those going well at the top of the Highland League, Formartine and Brora?
auchinleck, cove and inverurie look best of the shorties - brora are not in same form as last two years and may struggle with arborath but formartine worth a go against clyde at the prices

Unfortunately there are also 62 Scottish Junior cup ties playing on Saturday. That is my bread and butter and I am sifting through all the value and certs on that card. One thing I can confirm if I post the Junior Cup tips. They will have to be placed in a William Hills shop. No value with McBookie who dodge the shorties.
Just looking very quickly at oddschecker for the subject of this thread.
If I was not going mad it looks like poor McBookie using the Victor site is massivly best price about all overs. Looks like the standard template been applied. As these non league teams score goals for fun there has to be lots of value. Good example where we can get stats are the all Higland League ties
Turriff v Fraserburgh Mcbookie Over 2.5 3/5 Over 3.5 31/20 over 4.5 15/4 seem pretty top league stuff odds. The stats say in the last 10 H2H they average 4 goals a game.
Fort v Cove McBookie Over 3.5 20/23 Over 4.5 85/40 Over 5.5 19/4 Over 6.5 10/1 The stats say the last 20 H2H 118 goals scored. Nearly 6 per game !!! Fort actually scored 2 and 3 goals within in the last 4 meeetings. I note Coral go 11/1 Fort score 2 and 66/1 they score 3.
More later

I would not touch "the hoose" with the mother in laws money in that match. Will post my junior selections tomorrow. This Scottish Cup 2nd round does not really thrill me so I wont be doing my usual run down. I have plumped to do an overs 3.5 goals treble at McBookie Apologies but I seem to have set alarms off and odds are moving.
As previously mentioned Fort William v Cove matches average virtually 6 goals a game over their last 20 meetings. The shade of odds on 20/23 about the game getting at least 4 goals looks excellent value. For the stats 11 of Forts last 14 home matches have made at least 4 goals. All 3 of the failures still netted 3 goals.Their last 3 Scottish cup matches all obliged. Cove matches have reached 4 goals in 10 of their last 15 away matches. Their recent scottish cup matches have seen returns of 5, 9, 7, 3, 9, 10 (TEN) goals. I would not put the speculators going higher in this one. The other 2 matches I have plumped for involve Lowland League against Highland league matches.
East Kilbride v Forres Mechanics Over 3.5 Goals 13/8 East Kilbride currently 2nd in the LL have scored 33 in 13 league games. They have conceded a huge 22. Average is over 4 per game. Forres mid table HL have scored 25 and conceded 27 in 14 games. Average just shy of 4 a match. East Kilbride home matches have reached 4 goals in 3 of the last 4 games (3 in the other). Their last 2 games in this cup have yielded 6 goals in each game. Forres last 3 away games have all made at least 5 goals. Their last 2 games in this cup have both also yielded at least 4 goals.
Edinburgh City v Buckie Thistle Over 3.5 Goals 6/4 Edinburgh top the LL having scored 32 and conceded 14 in 14 games. Average about 3.3 per game. Buckie also mid table HL scoring 29 and conceding 35 in 14 games. Average over 4.5 per game. Edinburgh home matches have reached 4 goals in 4 of their last 5 games. Their last excursion in the Scottish also obliged. Buckies last 3 matches in the Scottish have made at least 4 goals. 2 of their last 3 away matches have made the cut.
None of the home teams in these games will want replays, and indeed of the 6 teams I have gone for, only East Kilbride have actually drawn a game this season. Amazing stat isn't it ?
Well that's going to be my treble.

Quite a lot of rain up here overnight. Bone hard pitches flooding and the long journeys mean some postponements trickling in. Will post my junior cup tips around 11.00am. Note ALL Hills shops have access to these odds. Even in Landaaaan. Just write your slips out carefully headlined Scottish Junior Cup and ensure you do minimum trebles.

Okay I suspect all the postponements are in. I am going 11 matches which give a 46/1 Acca. Wont be doing that myself but some may want the last 2 teams that really beef things up. I will start with a couple of reasonable prices that are the key 2 that could feck us up. However without them the stakes would need to be too high. I will give all the matches a score in stars from 10 of my opinion of obliging.
Kilsyth Rangers 10/11 Home to Culter (Mcbookie go 4/11) 8* Home team are flying top of the 2nd tier of West Juniors. Culter are from the North Juniors top league. North juniors are frankly poor in standard and it would be no major suprise if all 39 of their teams are knocked out by the end of this round. Decent players play highland league. A long distance journey to North Lanarkshire will not help matters.
Clydebank 8/13 Away to Forfar West End (Mcbookie 4/9) 7* I have to include this as this is the game I intend to travel too. Clydebank are a couple of points behind Kilsyth in that west league having been relegated last season. They are going well and should have no fears of traveling to East Region Forfar West End. Forfar are in the equivalent league but near the bottom end. They lost at home easily last week, to a team beaten 10-0 only a week or so before.
Coupar Angus 1/3 Home to Lossiemouth 9* Bottom tier East against bottom of the bottom tier North. No comparison. The quality youthful East guns should make short work of the visiting pub team.
Falkirk 2/7 Home to Longside 10* Premier League East region Falkirk will roll over another North region bum team. You kind of get the pattern now. Longside even managed to lose 5-1 at home in their pub league last week.
Kennoway 1/4 Away to Fochabers 9* Another East Premier team travel this time to another bottom trawling North village outfit.
Cumbernauld 1/5 Away to Spey Valley 9* A 2nd tier West high flying outfit visit yet more north cannon fodder
Troon 1/10 Away to Lewis Utd 10* Getting silly now as crack west superleague Troon visit (How many are there ?) another North bottom feeder.
Arthurlie 1/16 Away to Buchanhaven 9* Same script as last match. I actually would have this one as slightly trickier.
Kelty 1/16 |Home to Stoneyburn 10* East Super champs against the lowest team in the east still in the cup.
My Acca ends here.
A couple of other prices are badly wrong. St Rochs 10/11 Away to Ellon Utd 7* Mcbookie 2/5 St Rochs are at the top of the 3rd tier in the West and visit a Mid table North Superleague Ellon. Visitor should be too streetwise.
Blackburn 6/4 Home to Downfield 6* This intriguing tie brings the East Regions geographical split together. Blackburn are flying in the south part and are unbeaten in 9 league games. Downfield have been subject of much news recently in Dundee and are in a bit of disarray. They were well beaten by Kirrie in the league last week.
Good luck all.

al - i can understand your anti-north slant as you say most of the better players are in the highland league - formartine are on the up for sure and great result to beat clyde - but stonehaven to beat shotts must have been a big price?

I saw in the local press that Coupar Angus had a Sub sent off with a straight red after only being on the pitch for 5 minutes , and that put them on the back foot late on in the game .
