I think it's best to give everyone credit and if they let you down then shame on them but you have the choice on how to respond and you should still strive to be the best person you can be because by doing what you all do you are actually no better, this forum is a great example of that "herd mentality"

Ridiculing someone isn't very noble is it, if he chooses to do that to people then it's up to the recipient to allow it to matter to them or they can take it for what it is and not let it mean a thing to them because it really shouldn't.
