Ronaldo did fk all, all game long, shot tamely from 35 yards at from an acute angle towards the end when he could/should have passed or at least try and take on the one player in front of him.

RM so negative 2nd half Benitez will need to waken up game's not won till fat lady sings,they got what they deserved eventually 1 pt not 3 which would have been a steal.

Can't believe they have killed the exchange and the forum. It's sad. The rugby world cup seems to be doing alright but the football on the exchange is awful even on a weekend.

Match pretty much typifies why Benitez isn't suited to Real Madrid for me. There's no doubt he's got some in a far better defensive shape, and admittedly until the last 10 minutes maybe you couldn't really see Atletico scoring, but Real Madrid fans are never going to stand for this style. It was effectively go 1-0 up and try to hold on to the lead. I can't remember seeing a Real Madrid side offer so little in an attacking sense in a half of football than the 2nd half. This just makes Benitez an easy target every time they don't win, as the style of football isn't what Real Madrid fans will want.

Ronaldos performance was beyond shocking.

His only 'highlight' was a shot into the side netting. Every other time he had the ball he either lost it or made a sloppy pass



As for Torres. Had a shot from within the six yard box and it went out for a throw in. If he was a dog he'd have been put down years ago
