Hi guys . I've decided to stop gambling for a while as it's not fun any more. I seem to be glued to Betfair these days. Does anyone else feel this way?

No.  If I did I'd be walking away too.  Best of luck with whatever you decide to do instead.

It's not meant to be fun, it's a job, what kind of man gives up? Real men don't give up, real men get up, dust themselves down and plough back in, now make another deposit and we'll pretend you never made this thread, gone on fella, you know you want to...

Couldn't help but notice there's a certain irony in your choice of username, maybe you should have gone for I'mbloodyminted instead?

Last thing he remembers, he was
Running for the door,
He had to navigate his way back
To the market place he was before
"Relax", said the voices in his head,
You are programmed to back and lay.
You can check-out any time you like,
But you will always come back to stay

If ur on a long losing run STOP!,take stock what u can "afford" to lose each week,ur wise to take a break for a bit.

When u start again stick to the sport u have most success at and forget the rest. Good luck.

What markets and bet type are you playing ? maybe rewind back to something that worked a few years ago. I find that staying away from betting on Saturdays is the best thing as there is too many games on and its easy to place the wrong bet, easier during the week when theres fewer games and you tend to focus more.
