Don't know how boredom has brought me back on here again trying out different things just to pass time!
Have done so many of these challenges in the past and although the majority of them have inevitably fallen to pieces, I have completed a few and that is all it takes to make a profit long term.
The base of this challenge is trying to double your money 8 times from the starting amount of £5.
I have found the best way to go about this is to look at it in 8 stages and just forgetting the bigger picture and just to focus on doubling your money and getting to the next stage.
On the weekends when there is plenty of Football on doubling your money is very achievable but on the weekdays it will take you 2-3 days if you want to double it as there is normally a lack of games or they are all ridiculously **** which I try to avoid.
Best way of doubling, well the quickest is through backing at average odds of about 1.09. It only takes about 7-8 bets at these odds and you will come through.
I started on Saturday and have doubled my money 3 times so far and I am currently at £41.36 from my original £5 stake.
The most common bets put on at odds of 1.09 are double chance bets and over 0.5 bets but it's only lately I realised there was another way to go with this and something potentially easier. I saw a thread like this where a forumite suggested backing no goals in the first 10 minutes and that got me thinking.
Most matches on average I would say stretch to about 3 minutes injury time over the regulation 90.
I keep seeing odds of 1.09 available on the exchange for a team winning by 1 goal when it hits the 87-88 minute mark and sometimes beyond. Meaning all you have to do is last 5 minutes without the trailing team scoring to equalise!
It sounds a lot easier than it is but it is a lot more possible than the other methods I think.
I'm not claiming that this is going to work because most of the time it will fail but it has a bit of potential and needs to be tested out to see if I can complete a few.
It's a bit hard to post as most selections are very random and by the time they are posted the market will not be available any longer anyway but please feel free to try it yourselves and let me know how it goes.
I tend to just look for teams either with level stats on Bet365 or teams that have been on top for most of the game. I avoid teams with 10 men or teams that are being dominated and will come under extreme pressure in the last few minutes unless I see extreme value.
Would be nice to hear what people think about this and whether or not anyone has tried it before!

Start with £5 how the he'll are you doubling that with 1.09s ? Like ten bets at 1.09 to double bank ?
