Oman never took a shot at goal until 25th minute even though they had the more possession and moredangerous attacks, even when they had a free kick outside the box.
They laid even 7.5 goals at around 20!Oman never took a shot at goal until 25th minute even though they had the more possession and moredangerous attacks, even when they had a free kick outside the box.
wow - blatant fixing . there again ... how much money can be made fixing a match between two such obscure teams? no bettor who operates at a four-figure staking level is gonna be mug enough to put his money here (is he?). So thats big wodges of cash ruled out - the only money up for grabs would be tiny bits of mug money. DOESN'T ADD UP

I'm not saying this game wasn't ****, but how come Oman were 1.22 favorites in the first place? Both Guam and Oman beat India and Turkmenistan with pretty similar figures, which to people like me who don't have a clue would suggest that they are of somewhat equal strength. Add to that the visitors' poor away record. **NEWSFLASH** They simply don't score very often. (And don't forget, Guam beat the Mongols at home. Temujin probably won't have been too happy about when he heard of the news in the afterlife. )
Sure, Guam got hammered by Iran the other day, but what exactly does that mean? For all we know, they may never really have tried after they found themselves a goal down after 10 minutes? Iran must be considered the top dog in the group, so why bother wasting energy in that game when you know you're going to lose, anyway? Better to stay fit and get a result against the peace-loving sultans.
The main issue here as I see it is that you got involved in a game between two teams you know absolutely nothing about. Live and learn.

I have a family member who works in Guam so follow their results and I tell you what, they aren't THAT bad, in comparison with the opposition. They have loads of American players, and AJ DeLaGarza who plays for LA Galaxy.
