boo means to show utter comtempt.(he he)
Report brassneck August 23, 2015 5:26 PM BST
I think Eric Cantana holds the record for the most boos in a match.Cool
Report tenpins August 23, 2015 5:48 PM BST
Why would anyone boo Cantona?
Report brassneck August 23, 2015 6:00 PM BST
I think he kicked a supporter because the supporter was booing him,so he got more boos from other people who were attending the match.Laugh

I think the next day all the fishermen ,noticed seagulls following their trawlers.i guess they thought that sardines had being thrown into the sea.

I think the question should be, did you ever boo any player from your own team?

Paul Ince will feature quite highly here.
Report brassneck August 23, 2015 6:30 PM BST
That is a great question Pixie, now lets see who will be honest enough to admit they did.
Report 1st time poster August 23, 2015 6:40 PM BST
cause you boo your own players only the pscypohant modern day sky induced supporters dont boo their own players,at the old ayeresome park the side terrace was known as the chicken run by the players and they hated playing down that side because of the stick and barracking they got,1000,s of everton fans were openly booing barkley last season, players lke milner, navas, joe cole, obe mikel etc would get murdered by the chicken run,in those days people used their own eyes and made their own minds up about players they didnt have 24 hr sky sports setting the agenda for them brainwashing them into who was playing well and who wasnt, today been a prime example stirling, silvs and koralov were citys best players yet gary neville somehow had coleman playing a blinder, Confused
Report pixie August 23, 2015 7:17 PM BST
That's just plain idiotic! Players hating playing on one side because their OWN 'fans' giving them stick. No wonder you've won f'ck all!

I must try that at work next week, just give everyone sh1t and frightening them into performing better! Hmmm, somehow I don't think it'll work......

There was a striker who played for Crewe around 2009 who had previously played for Stockport and Leeds and done pretty well I think. But for us he was the worst player I have seen in a Crewe shirt since the dark old days of the mid 80s. What made it worse was that he was one of our top earning players & pranced around the pitch like he was Michel Platini and Johan Cryuff rolled into one. He scored a couple of goals when he first signed but I don't think he ever once broke into a sweat or looked bothered by a bad decision, missed sitter or defeat. His goals record was awful, about 1 in 10 games, for a player who had a reputation for scoring goals. During the second half of one home defeat he was in our box while we were defending a corner and I shouted "Elding you lazy, overpaid, useless c*nt". He heard it, looked over and shouted back something that I couldn't quite hear because everyone around me was agreeing with me. The rest of that season (although to be fair he was only picked once or twice more) developed into a bit of a slanging match between me and him.

He was last seen not getting into Grismby's team in the Conference, don't know where he is now. I still sit/stand in the same place behind the goal at Gresty Rd and haven't slated another Crewe player since (out loud).

Tony Adams has the record for the most boos in a match.

Closely followed by George Best, Frank Worthington and Gazza.

There was a great story about Big Ron when I think he was Coventry's manager. They were 3-0 down at half time and he walked into the dressing room and said "Do you hear that booing outside? I started it".

Once booed Jaromír Blažek at a friendly match and was so furious with his limp-wristed display I had his son Jakub beaten up by some hoodlums who attended his school. Not willing or legally authorised to go into further details.

this time last season i,d have been booing and barracking sango at arsenal if i was a gunners fan, as it was i was pishing myself laughing at him on tv,yet wenger came out game after game saying he,d score goals ,when it was obvious to anyone with the slightest inkling about the game that he wouldnt, but we all got the usual so you no more than wenger routine, wheres he playing and scoring now
who was the one a few years back ended up at boro, who got a cap for england in holland absolute garbage but conned everyone,

keith Andrews(he thought he was zinadine zidane)used to get vicous abuse from everyone whenever he pulled on a Blackburn shirt, justified really,as he was totally in denial about his lack of ability, all those fifty yard attempted passes that ended up in the riverside, used to make even the most mild mannered fan vent his spleen,he even got the monolith`s in the jack walker stand raging on occasionHappy

I had a right pop at brett emerton once for a particularly inept game against villa,he was perched right on the touchline when I was walking off,he must have heard me as he turned round and mouthed **** off!!,made us all laugh cos within a minute he got another verbal blast from tugay for miscontrolling a pass

Micheal Ricketts was top class at Bolton for 18months or so. More or less got us promoted on his own and then started life in the prem on fire he was top or nearly top scorer in the feb when he got picked for England.

After that it all went downhill, he wanted more money, became billy big time went to boro but did nothing and then drifted from club to club generally leaving after a short spell. A wasted talent.

At Bolton we had the nightmare of Keith Andrews on our relegation from the premier league Owen Coyle gave him a 3 year 25k a week contract. I can honestly say he is one of the worst players ive ever seen, basically all he did was stand in the centre circle pointing and shouting as the game passed him by. He was that bad he was dropped once coyle got sacked and spent the rest of his 3 year contract out on loan where multiple clubs sent him back part way through their loan deals. There can be few better examples of players so bad who have earned so much.
Report tommo1000 August 25, 2015 8:22 PM BST
keith Andrews was that bad even steve kean tried to get rid of him
