go to IBAS, clearly a Silva goal
By:
they are refusing to pay out anyway, would ibas be able to help with the situation? been a regular in there shops for a while but this whole incident and there lack of caring has really put me off them.
By:
the goal will eventually be officially given to Silva
By:
How can this give this to yaya it's ridiculous, it clearly came off of another City player, therefore it's a Silva goal, his touch changed the direction of the ball, if not it might not have gone in
By:
They will go with the "official" scorer, if that is yaya there is no chance that mob will pay you out of kindness. Worst firm by a mile for welching if it's at all possible.
By:
Fred wouldn't give you the steam off his p1ss, so chances of a payout are nil.
By:
what do their rules say?
By:
I reckon its just a waiting game. The official result will surely be change then go in with the doc.

By:
my bet at hills is a winner my lay bet at betfair is a loser if silva is the scorer both my bets lose unless betfair change the lay bet from lose to win
if you are betting with any firm check their rules 1st BEFORE moaning on here rule 14. In the case of football and other sports, bets are settled on the official result published by the Press Association (PA), immediately after the match/event is finished. If the PA amends its decision after this period, all bets will stand on their original result. rule 15. If the result is not immediately available from the PA, the result published by the official governing body immediately after the match/event is finished will be used for settling purposes. Any subsequent corrections or amendments to this result will not apply for settlement purposes. 7. Settlement of bets. rule 1. Betfred will endeavour to settle all markets as soon as possible. Betfred normally settle horse markets soon after the result is known, and football within a short time of the match finishing, whenever possible. rule 2. For all the markets Betfred offer, it is very important that we seek proper and official confirmation, and correct results at all times. To this end, Betfred will often check a number of different sources. If these sources differ, there may be a slight delay while we seek confirmation of the official result. |

Rules are pretty clear. Betfredd have no case to answer here and are fine not paying out on silva fgs bets
By:
if you had backed yaya toure on there double delight hat trick heaven coupon at 7-1 you would be paid out at 14-1
By:
is that available in the shops, duke? And would they take a decent bet of 50 English pounds upwards?
By:
yes in shops coupon stake box goes from 25p to £200. i suppose they may ring in big stakes but saying that i've £100 bets before with no problems
By:
much obliged sir! Very good offers if you like a dabble on the first goalscorer market
By:
Only good if the original price is competitive, which is not the case most of
the time. Betfred are not in the buisness of offering good offers and use every trick in the book to deceive their customers. |
By:
you've been mugged off no end
By:
i don't even have a bet on that match and it annoyed they kept saying Toure scored i

betfair re settled now silva is THEIR fgs.the OP must be seething
rules is rules though.if you dont like the rules dont bet ![]() |
By:
Rules are rules ?
The ball clearly touched Silva on the way to the goal, so their was no doubt after one replay it was a silva goal. |
By:
Wouldn't the OP's bet be turned into a winning bet then and get paid out?
By:
more chance of nile ranger scoring a hat trick

whatnot86 is currently rummaging through the bins hoping he can find that betting slip amongst the condoms, sanitary towels and half-eaten findus pancakes so he can present it to his local Blertfred manager.

BALDFRED settle on original PA (press association who dont give a fck as long as they are in corporate hospitality with a free bar and unlimited supply of prawn sandwiches) decision
any subsequent ammendment does not fkin count (read the baldfred rules not after but before) how fkin simple is that |
By:
i've got a great idea and i hope some uk books take it up
in the FGS market add these extra markets goal scored off woodwork = your choice either that price without the assist or with the assist you could also add in goalkeeper assist onto woodwork for a better price and now lets look at deflection you could have 3 prices any defender assist any attacker assist and goalkeeper assist you could then throw in named players ie david silva as the assist or as the deflector and you could combine that with the above ie yaya toure shoots david silva deflects goalkeeper saves onto post ball hits defender and crosses the line BRIILIANT |

i still have the slip but have not been down to see if they would pay out, it seems most bookmakers exept betfred have though? pretty disgusting but if they want to go on something that was wrong then what can i do :D
By:
i can understand the rules and don't blame betfred for the decision, i blame more this press and there crediting of a goal that clearly wasnt yayas, given that now it has been credited as a silva goal.
By:
lad brokes and paddy shops paid out on both yaya and silva not sure about hills they may be shop specific ie they have paddy lads next door they join in to save face as its small time MUG punters bets that they still want to take
BUT what you should be doing IS this dont fkin moan about the fkin RULES (which are correct) MOAN about the fkin FREELOADING PA who dont give a fck about YOU |
By:
very good point - it is the PA who ought to be working to a higher standard.
By:
rare example of a case where a bookies rule exists not to give him an edge in whatever situation. A rule as simple as 'we settle on what the PA calls it as' - will work against, as much as for , his interests (over time)
