Thoughts? I see the St Mirren coach likes to play attacking football, young side, smashed 5-0 by Sheff Wed in a friendly last week, goals?

Seems to be setting up for goals in this one, Warburton style is attack minded and St. Mirren don't appear like they will be setting up for a 0-0.
Been impressed with Gers so far in the 2 cup games.
Will be looking for more of the same 2nite.

St Mirren do look a bit overpriced at 8 considering they have just came down from premiership, Rangers got a drubbing from Motherwell when the chips were down in play-offs.
BT say a crowd of 50k is expected at Ibrox. Keep forgetting how massive Rangers potentially are.
Not potentially mate - they are massive and so are Celtic.
Hopefully both in the Premeirship soon as it would be much better having them than West Hum, Stoke, Villa, West Brom etc.

Nobody told you that it is a new start, new manager and new team that actually trains three times per day compared to the daily pie and pint under McCoist
If the first 5 minutes are anything to go by this could get ugly for St. Mirren.

Gd start to the league for the Gers
Still looking a bit shaky at the back & need to work on that, but as the manager said after the game, they have only been together as a group for a short time to date & will gel more as a unit with games. Thought Tavernier had his poorest game in a Gers shirt so far, poor passing & tackle for the pk.
Wallace was outstanding & looked a cut above most of these on the field.
The early signs are gd under the new management & with loads more to come i expect Gers to win the Championship with a fair bit to spare come May 2016 (+ 12/20 pts)

Agree with you but that's not the point.
Only 3 of the team were starters last term so obviously going to take time to gel especially in defence.
I think we saw enough, and remember as Westender says it could equally have been 10 to Rangers, and it augers well for the season ahead.

He's trying too hard. Got off to a great start against Hibs and wants to hear the applause again.
