WINDOWS 10,ANYONE GETTING IT?8 days-29th

heard its a free upgrade from windows 7 and 8.think i will leave it for a while dont like changing

tis free sc,fwiw i wouldnt let it write over the old OS(7,8,8.1),if you are,wait at least a few weeks

windows updates, yikes, no thanks

I agree donny; let them keep their updates to themselves

therell be a trick to block updates

bound to be a lot of f uck ups in the 1st live release, not going to be MS guinea pig, got screwed with their laughable Win 8.0, never again.

Why dont you get a version of Linux if you want a freebie

had to install 3rd party software to get window 8 and 8.1 to behave like desktop windows should

waiting for a 64 bit torrent,then burn- install on my other pc,think it only updates like for like-32 bit for 32bit,64 for 64 etc

After reserving a Windows 10 Upgrade, after a few hours when you click the same window like icon in the taskbar, you will see a window will pop with the message " Download - In Progress", and you can see the download progress by clicking on the button "View Download Progress". My background download is in progress with 20% done. That's all folks!

do you lose any data at all ?? and what if i do a full restore later on the pc ? does that mean im back to windows 8 for good

still havent got mine up and running(isos-making them bootable,burning etc,wrecks my head),the trial version works fine tho

You can force it through on the command prompt - just google it.

betfair not working properly in Microsoft edge browser , markets super imposed in left corner.....have to use another browser for their fantastic new site

well tried it and the ethernet was damaged/couldnt upgrade or roll back the driver so used the full restore back to windows 7(restore avail for 30 days only),still have the trial on another hd(ethernet ok there)the betfair forum is an absolute mess,massive banners at top and bottom-redirected to awful ad pages too(so adblocker not working),dont upgrade if you wanna try it -put it on another hd

chrome on windows 10 kept hanging...so had to download the new beta....works fine now.
