Ive enjoyed watching some of these matches, maybe not all games, but would say not bad for having a flutter. I have seen Australia once so far, and was impressed with them, they also had a harder group than Japan. I cant remember watching Japan, so really not up to scratch on how they play, but they did have easier games of the two in my opinion. So with that being the case I am favouring Australia in this match in one way or another. Will wait and see if any other posts in this thread puts up a good case for Japan, to alter my thought's on this one.
Japan have had a bye through so far and hope the Aussie Ladies will stick it to them.
The Aussie girls have certainly impressed me and could well be the surprise package of the tourney. The Japanese are a very hard working outfit and current champions. Neither side is renowned for goals though, if I was to have a bet it will probably be a lay of Japan.
There's no valyoo for me. Japan look solid faves but I've got some doubts over their desire and current form. If it goes to penalties though and Australia are made outsiders I'd back them to win the shoot out.
Australia win/draw and btts for me fancy the matildas to give it their all and take it to extra time at least.
Had a nibble at h/t f/t australia @9 they were quick out the blocks against USA. Will get a better feel for match after 10 mins, as Ive not seen Japan yet.
Japan are pretty decent, very technical and lots of experience. Never seen Australia play but I think this will be an uphill challenge for them.
Aussies giving them too much room early doors need to get tighter.

Nothing yet. I was hoping for a bit more intent from either side, in which case I'd probably have gone for Over 1.5 Goals. Normally I wouldn't expect to see this end 1 - 0/0 - 1, but if they're going to wait 70 minutes before they actually give it a try, I'm not going to risk it.

number 11 for Australia looks a dangerous player, if she gets a run in on them, looks more than capable of scoring by herself out of nothing

Don't fancy England's chances against Canada much either and it would be a shocker of a WC semi but who cares
Don't think Australia are riding their luck, Japan better team, but not really creating much.
True but they do look like they might score though. Can't really say the same about Australia.

Like we've said from time to time the full sized pitch is too big for the women's game.
Japan are risking virtually nothing going forward. I can't help but think that if they just went for it, they'd quite easily find the back of the net. It's not as though Australia have been much of a threat going forward tonight.

You shouldn't compare this to men's football. Women's football is a totally different game. Which is why they should change the rules. (As mentioned earlier, the pitch is too big. They also shouldn't be playing 90 minutes, I think.)

Only chance of a goal tonight had to be Japan scoring. Just a shame they never really tried until the last 15 minutes or so.

I wouldn't say wrong tactics. If they'd attacked the Japanese, it would've been suicide. They've got a few good passers and look like a team that can play a decent game of football on the break.
out of topic...maybe someone can answer..i see lately that some crazy matches have insane volume of money..like today zlin- myjava..100 k on ziln and 25 euros on myjava..thats just one example..anyone?
How do we see later match going Canada v England? banker unders? Canada 1-0? or have England been saving themselves for a big performance?

Fancy England to win by a small margin (2 - 0, 3 - 1), if they play like they did after going behind against Norway. If they're just going to attempt to park the bus again, unders looks nailed on.
its amazing how many 0-0 lays (not necessarily pre-game) or over 1.5 bets i scrape home with a late goal in games where nobody looks like scoring. i bet someone out there has a good system going on laying the current score with only a few minutes left.
i have done it some times, and often its worked. i remember laying the score in an arsenal champions league match at about 1.16 (rough guess, it was years ago) and they got a penalty in the last minute. backed man city to win against qpr to win the league too. cant remember if i backed them at 0-1 or 1-1 but the odds were very nice. but its something i only ever do very rarely as kind of a weird impulse thing, ie i think they may score. must be a system in there if you can be arsed to work one out.

Really tempted to back Canada, have a feeling they will bullie England into submission.
Canada drifting to 2.56 at moment, most of the money on England. Looks a decent price for Canada, England looked poor against Norway last match until the late goal
Ended up putting more on Canada than I intended with the drift, here's hoping its at least a good game of football.
