lot of good judges rave about Downfall - but I find the central character unpersuasive, just shouts a lot and, unforgivably, doesn't even look like Adolf (anyone could put on the comedy 'tache and be halfway to loooking a bit like him with your eyes scrunched up.

i said earlier i used to think it was a great film, but this time im not feeling it.
it is starting to look like a bloke just shouting a lot. maybe im just getting cynical in me old age.

and you can see the actor underneath the lip-fuzz ; he don't look like 'Itler

maybe it doesnt help that i watched the pianist the other week. first time id seen it and it was brilliant. makes this look a bit duff.

not seen, cannot coment. opinion noted for later usage.

on rotten tomatoes downfall gets 91%, the pianist 96%.

blu ray dot com, which is a terrific site by the way, downfall has an average rating of 8.5 and the pianist has 8.4

so not much in it. i suppose seeing them the first time is usually the best a movie like these gets though.

i have profit if holland make a draw here (thanks to paysandu) but am getting restless that I do not have more winning outcomes - may have to back 2-0. just feeling up the prices,. Rather skinny if i may say so.

It was, but to be honest, ended up being one of my favourites countries. Places like Heidelberg, the food the beer, the hospitality was incredible.
In Kaiserlatern, Para v Trin &Tobago, my mate and i looking at a map how to get to the stadium, and an old granny helped up, as we walking to the ground, these German lads opened up their car boot and we drank with them for about 30-40mins.

i often turn a match off if i need a goal but dont want to take a loss. its so much less stressful just looking at the score and hoping for a goal. the temptation to take a loss can be huge and usually its the wrong thing to do.

if you bet goals, virtually every game you get to a point where if you trade out youd lose good money. youd get nowhere if you kept doing that. defo need to be brave if you back goals.
