Missed some heading chances  but more importantly he looks cool in his trademark Bale(or is it Alice?)headband.

Real will do well to offload him...out of his depth at Real Madrid

What I cannot understand is why all these British players are too thick/lazy to learn the of the languages of the countries they play in.

Imagine if most of the foreigners playing in the PL couldn`t communicate with their teammates unless someone translated - christ how the natives would react??

I think it's a little bit unfair to highlight Bale in isolation. Unless Barcelona slip up in the league Real Madrid will have won nothing this year.

RAPS it's east to understand, English is an an easy language to learn which is why everyone speaks it.

It is inmo very difficult for players to transfer from the EPL to Spain/Italy the change in the style/quality of play is too much for most, these leagues have teams full of technically gifted players who are athletes and are pacey.

Spanish is not easier than English, not to nationals whose mother tongue is outside of the romance languages that are closely related to it.

Three lessons a week, watch Spanish TV and he'd have nailed it by now. Maybe he's just a bit thick.

So how come Suarez is thriving at Barcelona but people said Bale was better than him when they were both in the Premier League?

Spanish is even easier to learn than English

bad example though.
if your an eastern european there are still some things in the language which is done similarly.
its a lot harder to learn spanish if your only language is English.

tu entiendo?

Footballers, managers, football fans, the so called pundits are generally a bit thick so it must be difficult for them to learn a new language. Look at Pochettino at Spurs, he's the manager and he can't speak English. Some would say he can't manage either. Laugh

80 million quid and he got played out of position , at 80 million you should be able to play anywhere that includes in goals

He should also learn the language as fast as his hair grows

did suarez speak dutch?

why did bale move if he knew he was a thick coont ? fecked his career unless he moves back to the epl and skins a 36 year old JT or 36 year old Ferdinand , then he will look good

kenilworth. It's not "bullshit", you can make 10's of thousands through arbitrage and furthermore I don't guess when I trade or bet. The possibilites with arbs, sides, middles and value bets are endless. Anyone who knows anything about arbitrage or betting will know this. You're lucky this forum is dead so no one can put you straight. Perhaps listen to nortons? I'm putting you on ignore now because you've done my head in for 2 days non stop and I have things to do. Please carry on embarrassing yourself if you so wish...

Amazed at all those on here wanting to defend a guy too lazy/thick to learn one of the simpler foreign languages while taking a massive salary working over there.
Pocchetino`s English is 1000X better than Bale`s Spanish and he still gets sh!t for it.

I will give Bale the benefit of the doubt and conclue that he is merely a moron.
