It's awful.  I wouldn't pay a penny for it.  Watching Everton last week.  Man U have a corner, they are penalised.  We don't see what for but we do see a close up of Fellaini.

Next, the 1st goal, which was shown enumerable times after it happened 15 minutes previously, is shown twice including the celebrations which followed.

Then back to the game with Everton on the edge of Man U penalty area.  WTF happened in between?

Agree with that, too many close ups of managers, people in the crowd, replays of incidents when the game is going on and you can hear oohs and aahs so something must be happening, then as you say back live and the ball is up the other end, no idea how it got there.

I know Watford & Bournemouth are up , but this hype around being promoted , the crazy figures bounced around , £120m for promotion blah blah ,
And when it gets down to the last weekend , they concentrate on games that look like they wont really have a bearing on the finishing positions
Derby should win at home to Reading who are on the beach already
Ipswich can settle for a draw and the rest are out the frame
I shall be a Vicarage road watching Champions elect :D

Why does everyone assume that footballers always take beach holidays? Only ever hear about them "on the beach" during July & August. Maybe some head to the mountains or off on safari? Or perhaps a cultural tour of Gothic architecture, museums and picture galleries on a European city break?

Baffling from Sky - whoever made the decision to show these games (in pref to top of table) needs shooting.

Any potential drama comes from the battle for the play offs today.

Nobody really gives a monkeys who wins the league outside of the supporters of the teams involved and anyone with a financial interest.

What about entertainment Marcee? Both teams at the top of the table going for goals - it really is a no brainer! Who is interested in who gets in the play offs other than 'supporters of the teams involved and anyone with a financial interest' either?

As a neutral would I watch the battle for the play-offs? Yes.  Would I watch the battle for the title between two already promoted teams? No. Just my opinion like...
By:

So 3 teams level on points at half time with any goal scored from now having a huge impact isn't entertaining then?

You're absolutely right it's a no brainer and you got it wrong.

Johnny_MUPPET

This is the reason the games about money now rather than anything else

Before sLy tv there used to be 1 Division 1 game every sunday on ITV called the big match, i used to watch it as a kid

Why arnt ITV or bbc allowed to show just 1 game on a weekend?

and saying cant afford it is just a cheap thick pleb style reply when you know something is true

Oh good TSO ruins another thread.
They would never have done this with the prem would they - show the matches for 4th place and not show the top 2 fighting for the title? No difference.

Think sky is more for the benefit claiming multi child family. Who don't care too much about upscaled pics and non hd sound. Where as bt is more for the middle class or people whose equipment shows up the vast gulf in quality.
Just look at the studios .
The f uckers have stamped their feet at me though. Tried to book the fight and got your viewing card cannot be credited. I don't go bt till the 22 nd.

without the bad language?

Sorry
I'm a foul mouthed f ucker. Think the c word is the most expressive word in the vocab myself. It conveys real passion a feeling.

It has become the most abhorrent
word in the English language as
is the 'n'word.

Also, with respect Ken, I don't think you can compare the 'c' word with the 'n' word. The latter insults a quarter of the world's population, without trying. The former merely upsets cu nts! (That was an attempt at humour, btw. I wasn't being totally gratuitous!)

The n word is in the dictionary,
the c word isn't.
Why would that be?

I would imagine that is because
the latter is seen as being more
offensive than the former. I use
neither word,the former...never,
ever, the latter in describing.
I would never, ever use either in
print.

The c word isn't in the dictionary? It's been around for thousands of years and was in everyday use until fairly recently (historically). Any town that has a medieval 'grape street' changed it from 'Gropecunt Lane' donchano? No it's not because wine was drunk there or fruit sold there but because prostitutes used to frequent it - hence gropecunt lane. More towns need a 'Gropecunt lane' imo....

Great post spyker
I like too average at least one swear word a sentence as it certainly makes you sound tougher.

Ken, as has been stated by others, you really ought to get a better dictionary. As for which is the more offensive word, I was only half joking in my previous post on this thread. Apart from the fact that they are ultimately just words, I'd question the rationale of anyone who finds the c-word more offensive than the n-word. More vulgar? Almost certainly. More offensive? Only if your imagination is warped.

I use a ''Collins Dictionary and Thesaurus''
and the 'c' word is not included, which in my
opinion, makes it a very decent dictionary!
