Thoughts on matches tonight Barcelona v Psg, Bayern v Porto? Both home teams look like winning bets, but the fact Barcelona have a 2 goal cushion sway's me slightly from what I perceive to be a solid double. So looking for a different angle on these matches to have an interest in these games, plenty of various bets for both matches. So can we have some input on various type bets, which many on here will have an opinion on, having watched the teams probably a lot more than me, so will have more knowledge on where to steer punters in the correct direction.

But the gulf in terms of finances between Bayern and Porto is huge.

It's the Premier League clubs that are letting themselves down. They should be able to compete with these powerhouses, but are clearly nowhere near. PSG looked a top side vs Chelsea for 2 legs, now have barely had a kick against Barcelona.

Report Coachbuster April 21, 2015 8:37 PM BST
clubs should field only players from that country  for starters

the idea of say Ribery playing against  PSG seems ridiculous to me

This was obvious. I never got why people thought this would be beneficial to smaller clubs. Financial fair play just means no club ever break through.

Part of the reason the Premier League clubs struggle is management. Yes this starts at recruitment. But tactically our teams are very poor.

You can argue about money creating the gulf. I dread to think how much more money Liverpool had spent than Basel and Ludogorets, yet hard to argue they looked a better side than either.
