So it's not just me then . In my opinion Henderson is an absolute fraud - he is no more than average . How the hell can Liverpool think they're a top 4 team with players like him in the side ???

He is bang average at best.

Relax. Hendo was quiet as were others but he still managed to be involved in the only productive that occurred yday and that was making the run to get into the box for build up to the goal.

It does not help when the midfield blend was altered a few times but still it seemed to me BR had a few things on his mind to cater with going on previous performances by Villa against us at
Anfield.

He was the better of a bad bunch of perfomers. Coutinho nullified and Sterling an absolute waste and invisible.

doesnt help himself a lot when the team needs to keep the ball he tries a to force it too much...where have we heard that one before?

Standard player that runs around alot an looks busy to mask his lack of ability

For average players that shouldn't be anywhere near Anfield you can add Lambert, Lallana, Lovran, Markovic and Toure to the list.

I think Henderson has a decent season on the whole. Obv never going to be as a shining light as last season as the rest of the have not been consistently great either.

@G1... obv you are referring to Gerrard but you are being equally as Harsh on Hendo as he has improved in his vision and passing ranges over the last 18months. He has clearly taken on more responsibility and I think its great to see him add and show more attributes to his game than just being known by some as full of energy blah blah.

ps. for the record you were correct on other thread about team being better(although weaker still) before the formation change. However...it was clear that Gerrard was not having much an influence on the game further up so he switched it. The issue was we were missing Lucas & and Lallana to add a bit more quality in various midfield areas.

Allen finally removed from the pitch altlhough these SUBS came far too late (AGAIN!) too change or impact the performance. Why he is stuck up and not giving Borini more runouts is bloody beyond me!!!

dont mind henderson as a player but i think 100k is too much.....yes i know johnson is on more lol but then is the like sof lars or sven bender on anywhere near 100k?

He's the new Sco'y Parker.  Runs around a lot, most often trying to win back possession when he's just given the ball away for the umpteenth time.  Limited ability in attack and defence.  Probably a half decent squad player at a top team, but nothing more.

On the plus side for him, he's probably Liverpool's best midfielder.

Mediocre midfield plodder at best.

Henderson 100k a week, Carroll 100k a week.  Bang average English players who have done little and won nothing living like lottery winners.
