Whilst some people might accuse me of letting my heart rule my head I have had to lay City @ 1.70.Not many teams relish coming to Selhurst for a night game and we are in fairly good form.Couple that with City struggling a bit lately I really do think that we can get something out of this game.Admittedly, our record against City is poor, but I don't think a draw would suit them and if we manage to keep it tight the longer the game goes the more chance of our pacey attack catching them out.

I thought we would get something out of this game and a few others said a lay of Man City was the call early on in the thread but this is more than I could ever have hoped for.

Just got very lucky there with the penalty decision, looked a given to me.

Citeh should start paying their players no more than £10k per week.

They might end up with players that want to achieve at the club.

Man City only have 2 English players in their squad. Lampard and Milner. They have one other youngster but he doesn't count because he is more a youth team player.

Report leviathan April 6, 2015 9:58 PM BST

Can't see Utd, beating City this weekend, just because City, seem to play the derby games with United, as so their lives depended on it, which they ought to be doing in every game.
Report liggy0 April 6, 2015 10:00 PM BST
ive got to be honest i hope man utd work it up city after that, how the f--- are they paying some of them players the money there earning disgraceful, palace by far the worst team on the park but better management and more conviction and heart,
Report Blockfire April 6, 2015 10:01 PM BST
To be fair on Man City it isn't easy to break down teams like Palace who have every man behind the ball.
Report subversion April 6, 2015 10:03 PM BST
conceding 2 goals against a team who have every man behind the ball is quite impressive though Laugh
Report liggy0 April 6, 2015 10:03 PM BST
yes agreed but considering palace had every man behind the ball, they still scored two goals against a far superior team,
Report cricketnut2 April 6, 2015 10:03 PM BST
Yep guts and determination, sadly lacking in City's side, oh and they do have Jo Hart in goal, so they had 3 Englishmen, during the 90 minutes, they need about 5 more.
