Had backed €140 on Russia, right before the penalty. Still havent received money back, but I think betfair will declare all bets void. Don´t really think it is fair to have money tied up in a game for a long period of time even if they do decide to reschedule the game for another day...

Not 100% on this but if UEFA decide that in 3 days then yes, if they take longer than that then i think BF will void the bet, but check the BF rules for abandoned matches

Void. Match bets refer to 90 minutes and not subsequent decisions.

I think by BF rules the only way it wont be voided is if its replayed within 3 days, irrespective of what UEFA decide, so if its not replayed in 3 days and UEFA award Russia the win then bets will be void!, not 100% on this so check BF void tules

Can´t be classified as a draw if UEFA awards the victory to Russia, at most Betfair can declare bets void.

Can I just ask, can somebody please tell me that if I layed the draw in the 50th minute for £50 to odds 2.18 and when the game was interrupted the draw odds had gone down to 1.84. Will I lose the difference in the odds there, like losing like £20 and only receive £30 back from betfair? Or will I receive my initial lay bet that was £50? This is the first time something like this ever happens to me. Thanks for your help!

If declared void, you will get your initial bet back...

if it had got to 70 mins would probably have been settled as draw..under 70 mins and UEFA will step in, imho

match will be void for betting purposes but 0-3 awarded to Russia I would say

think it got to about 68 then Russia got a penalty

and missed !!!

Just read the rules. Betfair will payout on the decision of governing body.

If the match isnt voided you will get what price your bet was matched at

Thats if UEFA award one team the win and BF goes by that and honours it! so pray!

Well the penalty was given in the 66th minute I think. And then after that the riot started! So a couple of minute perhaps had gone until he took the missed penalty and all things around. So if the game was interrupted just before 70 minute or at 70 minute is for me hard to say. Anybody know when the game was stopped?

In relation to any tournament, competition or similar: If the event is not completed within three days after the scheduled completion date, then any markets relating to the event will be settled in accordance with the official ruling of the relevant governing body, providing such a decision is given within 90 days after the scheduled completion date. If no official ruling is announced in this 90 day period, then bets on any market relating to this event will be void, except for bets on any markets which have been unconditionally determined. If a market is to be voided but has been part-settled as a courtesy to Betfair customers, then such part-settled bets will be reversed and all bets on the market will be void.

So jajabrink if the game will be declared 3-0 for russia which is the most likely scenario, will we get our initial bet back? Or what price my lay bet was matched at?

They wont award a score, they will award the result to one team or make them replay it behind closed doors or at a neutral venue

if Russia do get awarded it 0-3, I had Kannunikov as an anytime goalscorer...will one of the goals be awarded to him?

oh my god, it really isnt hard,  This match has now been abandoned. We are in the process of voiding markets, except for first half markets which were already determined. We are aware that some bets on Match Result and Under/Over 0.5 goals have been settled as a loser in error, these will be voided as soon as possible.

dont panic, with your lay the draw bet you wont lose your stake, it will just be returned if bet is voided

only way you can lose is if UEFA award a draw, or UEFA make them replay it within the next 3 days and result ends up a draw

If you win you will win at what price your bet was matched at which was 2.18

You cant win a bet at 1.84 where you ddint have a bet "matched"

I think the chances that UEFA will make them replay the game after all that weird things happening at Montenegro must be very small, less than 1%. I believe they will award Russia the win with 3-0. I would bet on that one but probably very low odds on that one.

Normally when a match is abandoned BF wait for 3 days BEFORE VOIDING markets, to see if match is replayed or governing body awards a result, so you wont get your stake back for at least 3 days, unless they have changed this 3-day rule now

By the way how did you like that penalty? I was very sure he would miss that penalty when the camera had a close up on his face. There were zero confidence in that face expression. He knew already before he shot that penalty that there were too much on stake and so therefore the pressure were to high. That´s my thought anyway.
As a contrast you could see on Zlatan Ibrahimovic that when he stepped up to the penalty spot in the 85th minute for Sweden it was 99% certain that he would score and he did. Body language and facial expression says it all even the smallest details.

Eastern European football is so corrupt, they are giving the italians a run for their money now! The russian probably had money on the draw as well.

In the first minute of the Group G fixture, Russia goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev appeared to be struck by an object thrown from the crowd. He was subsequently carried off the field on a stretcher and the referee took the players off for a first time.

Play resumed after a 33-minute delay and there was no score at half-time. The start of the second half was delayed by 18 minutes due to further disturbances and the match was abandoned in the 67th minute, shortly after Russia's Roman Shirokov had a penalty saved by Vukašin Poleksić.

UEFA will wait to receive reports from the delegate and referee to open disciplinary proceedings.

The penalty decision was ridiculous anyway! Not surprised it kicked off

As Brian Moore said in the 70s as a riot was happening, "The crowd have gone mad. And they've every right to go mad"

They have to deduct 3 points from Montenegro.  The circumstances much worse than the precedent was set from the Serbia v Albania game.
