Come on BF .... so they get a bit of rain in Brisbane which has stopped the game early. The result stands as a FT result now settle my bet please.

I think it was around the 72min mark ... I have a significant bet on under 3.5 goals (which I was going to trade tbh). The score is declared a FT result so bet should be a winner ....

If a match starts but is later abandoned or postponed but is completed (i.e. 90 minutes of play according to the match officials, plus any stoppage time) within three days of the scheduled start date, all bets will stand except if the match is restarted from the beginning.
The key phrase here is "abandoned…but IS completed (i.e. 90 minutes of play according to the match officials….." Bets should stand by this logic. |

Bets on score markets would be made void.
You are betting on 3.5 goals, and 4.5 goals and so on, however the game is abandoned. Whilst the result has been made official and bets on Match Odds would be settled, score related bets would be voided. As the bet was not given a chance to be completed. The game is awarded to Wellington, so the game will not be replayed but bets on markets which are not settled and not subject to the outright bet would be voided. I placed 4 bets with Bet365, one on Over 3.5 goals, One on 2nd half bet Brisbane win, Also bet on Draw or Wellington double chance and also a bet on over 120 total goal minutes. All bets have been voided except my Double Chance bet which has been settled as a winning bet. To the person who put bets should stand above, you have not read that properly , It says if the match IS COMPLETED WITHIN 3 DAYS OF THE SCHEDULED START DATE. You have not read the sentence , you have seen the brackets commenting about 90 minutes. Match Odds bets will stand as would double chance and bets on the first half as well, also any markets already completed would also stand. But bets on goals and cards which were not settled, will be voided as 90 minutes was not played. Betfair will drag out refunding the stakes though, they always do, although the game has already been awarded to Wellington, so a full 90 minute game will not be played in the next 3 days. |

Agreed on goals bets, I was referring to MY bet, which is on match odds. Should have made that clearer.

I must admit I am not an expert at these things .... but go off this on BF help section ...

In terms of not allowing the goals bets to complete .... same can be said for the match result etc ..... bit like in tennis if someone loses the match 4-1 down in third set because they took a swipe at the ball-boy or linesmen ... the result is still declared fully and completely ... |

You are not reading that statement though; Try reading it without the brackets lol

Basically saying if the match is played within 3 days, the bets will stand, unless it is started again. Basically saying if the last 18 mins plus stoppages are played within 3 days, the bets would stand on the outcome of that. However it clearly states 90 mins must be played in the brackets. Goals bets will be voided, like they have been with Bet365 and Ladbrokes already, Betfair are just very slow. However Match odds will have to be paid, as the game was awarded to Wellington Phoenix. You make a reference to set betting, which is like goal betting. Player is 4-1 down, but match is forfeited, yes so bets on player to win are settled but had I had a bet on said player to win set 3 by 6 games to 2, my bet would be voided because the outcome was unknown. Hope that's clear for you. |

Betfair have now Voided the markets as stated. Match Odds has been settled.

Undern, I was trying to explain that to you. Under 3.5 Goals is not a winning bet as 90 mins has to played for that bet to stand. 72 minutes were played, so that was a voided market.
I don't get why you were expecting anymore than your stake money back ? |

the thieving **** voided the HT/FT and the DRAW NO BET markets, think I'll take my betting elsewhere.

I did put any Match Odds on Betfair, the only bet I had on Betfair was Over 3.5 Goals placed at HT. My Match Odds bet with 365 and Ladbrokes was settled.
