Another successful season then. Well they would say so.

This was equivalent to the palace v Liverpool game last season, a title decider

if liverpool won the palace game they still would have lost the title on goal difference.
winning the palace game 3-0 gave them a chance of beating newcastle about 10-0 to win the league in the final game |

cant see how Pellegrini keeps his job, he will go after the CL which is crazy as they still have a decent chance to get through against a stuttering Barca with a home crowd who turn nervous easily.
If they got rid tonight, they would give a caretaker manager the chance to have a real go at Barca. |

If Utd win tomorrow they'll only be 2 points behind City.

there are so many permutations for the places, behind chelsea it's a fascinating season, albeit not a season of great quality.

Can't imagine he'll be there next season. City could do a lot worse than inquiring about Ancelotti who is rumoured to be on his way out of Real if they don't win a trophy this season.

and the season after

City have been poor for most of the season
Players look tired and jaded - many look like they have got a serious World Cup hangover |

Never liked Pellegrini, surely cant have much longer

looks like that head off art attack

he'll have plenty of time to get a proper haircut now....

When City played Liverpool a couple of weeks back the average age of the Liverpool side was 23.5 & City's was 28. They have an aging side who are starting to struggle with the pace & energy of the younger PL sides.
Big job on their hands whoever is the manager next season. |

Haven't bought a decent player in over 2 years. Top players are all Hughes/Mancini signings and they've blown millions on utter dross. Problems go far beyond the head coach.
