Stats show Arsenal star is MUCH better than 'one of the world's best'
Francis Coquelin burst onto the scene with Arsenal earlier this season, and immediately racked up some impressive stats.
Indeed, the early signs were that he was actually better than Chelsea’s Nemanja Matic. We all expected that to fade.
However, the numbers still show Coquelin is out-performing Matic, who is widely considered the best defensive midfielder in the world.
Coquelin rules on tackles won, aerial duels, interceptions, blocks, clearances and ground duels won, while he also averages less mistakes.
With stats like this it’s not hard to see why Wenger and Gunners fans value Coquelin so highly.

Chelsea are top because Mourinho has put the fear of God into the Referee's minds, they're too scared to give decisions against them, they are nothing special, an efficient workmanlike team if you like, with a slightly improved version of Joe just give him a chance and he could be as good as Pele Cole.

Usual load of tosh ,as to be expected,from mesmerised.Far more points LOST than gained by poor refs. decisions,so nobody in their right mind would claim that refs. favoured Chelsea.The latest denial of TWO pens against Burnley for a start,that even the neutrals were adamant should have been awarded.Overall the refs. have certainly not favoured Chelsea.The balance tips the other way.

you don't even recognise Ox is better player than Wilshere. Better wide man,better midfielder,better finisher,better fitness (doesn't mean too much against Andy Capp)

how much do you think Wilshere is worth Mes? What would you take for him if Barca come in for him to replace Xavi and run their midfield, playing a 4-1-5 formation with Wilshere dominating midfield every game?
The mug would ask for Messi as part of the deal plus an extra £20m.
Bare in mind mes that Coq has to do a lot more defensive work per game.
