playing with traders money again you betfair you
Report themightymac February 27, 2015 2:36 AM GMT
The in play markets are done for the exchange in Australia during the night. Trying to save money. Skinflints are needing to hire some night staff in UK to take charge. What do our Australian friends know about football? Happens all the time.
Report themightymac February 27, 2015 2:39 AM GMT
I`ve had enough of this. I`m going elsewhere after tonight. Got Palestino @ 3.7 and 1-0 up but can`t lay off. Devil
Report knoxville February 27, 2015 2:44 AM GMT
nothing short of a amateur service. happening so often now its not a coincidence
Report capntin sensible February 27, 2015 2:46 AM GMT
if you were not all gambling addicts they betfair  would not survive
Report knoxville February 27, 2015 2:46 AM GMT
funnt that the sportsbook markets not affected....
Report raiden77 February 27, 2015 2:47 AM GMT
there is a difference between gambling and trading....
Report capntin sensible February 27, 2015 2:48 AM GMT
oh please raiden77 do
explain the difference
Report capntin sensible February 27, 2015 2:51 AM GMT
betfair prosper because they have everyone believe they are trading not gambling
Report themightymac February 27, 2015 2:52 AM GMT
The difference is that right now I could take a healthy profit and go to bed. That`s trading. Because they are not supplying a service and there is no in play odds on the football, I can`t and have to sweat it out. That`s gambling. hth.
Report themightymac February 27, 2015 2:54 AM GMT
Trading is when you have control of your own destiny, gambling is when you don`t.
Report themightymac February 27, 2015 2:56 AM GMT
tbf, you are partly right. At the start it`s gambling because there is no certainty that your selection will get in front and allow one to trade.
Report capntin sensible February 27, 2015 2:56 AM GMT
and thats bollocks because youe would wait fot another 10 seconds or 50 seconds or 500 seconds for the better price and profit and so on and thats gambling - why didnt you cash out b4 u cudnt
Report capntin sensible February 27, 2015 2:59 AM GMT
betfair have u believe u are not gambling thats why they are on stock exchange making all of their employees and directors lots of money
Report themightymac February 27, 2015 2:59 AM GMT
Because Palestino weren`t winning at the time. They scored in 44th minute and market suspended. I can assure you, I wait zero seconds to trade out when I get in a winning position. Greed beats everybody.
Report raiden77 February 27, 2015 3:00 AM GMT
capntin sensible...thats why you are gambler...before each trade you have game plan.. ....entry points and exit points....with anything there is always an element of risk...But the exchange being down isnt one....anyways..Betfair..right fooked me off
Report capntin sensible February 27, 2015 3:00 AM GMT
betfair wins every time
Report themightymac February 27, 2015 3:01 AM GMT
BF couldn`t care less who wins or who loses. Their money is guaranteed whatever. They are not bookmakers, they are brokers between punters and get their commission whoever wins.
Report capntin sensible February 27, 2015 3:02 AM GMT
and if their service f**ks up guess what - yep they still win
mug punting gamblers everyone -
Report knoxville February 27, 2015 3:02 AM GMT
f off betunfair
Report themightymac February 27, 2015 3:03 AM GMT
Why you on betfair then C.S. if you don`t trade? Why do you not just bet with bookies?
Report themightymac February 27, 2015 3:05 AM GMT
The Aussies who run the in play betting during the night must be watching Cricket.
Report capntin sensible February 27, 2015 3:05 AM GMT
bookies take big margin im on betfair because same as everyone on here we have to be somewhere because we are gamblers
Report capntin sensible February 27, 2015 3:06 AM GMT
and we on betfair because we are not gamblers we are traders - or betfair mugs
Report themightymac February 27, 2015 3:10 AM GMT
Of course we are all gamblers, in fact, compulsive gamblers would be a better description sitting up betting at this time of the morning, but by trading out from a strong position one has a better chance of winning. Palestino are 1-0 right now and 1/10 with bookies. If BF wasn`t suspended, I would be a guaranteed big winner but now I have to sweat it out. If these ***** score I`ll chuck the computer out the window Crazy
Report themightymac February 27, 2015 3:11 AM GMT
They just missed a sitter ShockedShocked
Report knoxville February 27, 2015 3:12 AM GMT
how the fk can you trade on suspended markets???? fkn wnkrs

its all gambling ye deluded muppets
Report capntin sensible February 27, 2015 3:13 AM GMT
and would u really trade out - or think max profit dont chuck computer out of window think about big fat betfair directors sleeping soundly making lots of money out of peoples like u
Report themightymac February 27, 2015 3:14 AM GMT
You started the thread Kermit Crazy
Report themightymac February 27, 2015 3:15 AM GMT

Report themightymac February 27, 2015 3:18 AM GMT
Nearly gave away a last minute penalty there. Scared
Report capntin sensible February 27, 2015 3:19 AM GMT
take the profit - no wait give it another 60  seconds and then more profit - because im trading or am i gambling or am i confused anyways big fat betfair director smoking cigar and drinking chanpange and big smile on face in big house
Report themightymac February 27, 2015 3:19 AM GMT
Why would you start a thread complaining about suspended in play markets if you weren`t trying to trade?
Report themightymac February 27, 2015 3:20 AM GMT
Captain, the guys who came up with the BF concept are geniuses. A brilliant business idea.
Report themightymac February 27, 2015 3:23 AM GMT
They may have held on and won 1-0 and saved me a right few quid laying off, but I agree with opening poster, it`s a shambles during the night on BF.
Report capntin sensible February 27, 2015 3:25 AM GMT
at the cost of the poor deluded people who genuinely think they are not gambling but trading and they did not come up with the idea - they were the first to get financial backing to get it developed to to next level - there were several such exchanges when betfair first started
Report themightymac February 27, 2015 3:28 AM GMT
So why do you gamble then Captain if you hate gambling so much? Just curious.
Report capntin sensible February 27, 2015 3:28 AM GMT
if i wait another 60 seconds before trading out am i trading or gambling thats the question
Report themightymac February 27, 2015 3:30 AM GMT
Gambling/Trading or whatever you want to call it is more addictive than drugs.
Report themightymac February 27, 2015 3:31 AM GMT
If you wait one second, it`s gambling.
Report capntin sensible February 27, 2015 3:31 AM GMT
i hate the service that betfair give and are allowed to get away with - they get away with it because all of their customers are basically compulsive gamblers and they window dress it as - trading
Report themightymac February 27, 2015 3:34 AM GMT
Anybody that stands to win, let`s say 1k, and his selection drops to 1.1 and he doesn`t trade out is a complete and utter mug. You can knock BF all you like, but BF gives you more chance of winning.
Report themightymac February 27, 2015 3:35 AM GMT
I agree that service is very poor at times and I would agree the majority of customers are compulsive gamblers.
Report themightymac February 27, 2015 3:37 AM GMT
But bookmakers are 100% worse. They will take the shirt of punters backs but close or restrict accounts if you are winning. I tried to get a monkey on a bet last week with one and they offered me £10.

yeh it means you can relax with a profit rather than having to wait until the end. I mainly trade cricket and I use the word trade rather than betting. I trade periods of the game when i feel the bowlers of batsmen are on top. The end result is of no significance to me.
