did that u6.5 goals challenge for a while. Was starting with £50 and would then go all in on consectutive shots around 1.05 and would withdraw at £100 or £150 (cant remember exactly), was actually profitable hmmm

In all seriousness, I have done this several times starting from a fiver, it really isn't that hard, mostly on over 1.5 goals and tennis acy's, can do it in less than 5 bets. The one on here that has been done, was by zeze

I believe it's completely unnecessary to be so conservative. If the challenge doesn't crash within the 70+ successful bets needed(@1/10) then if one passes the liquidity problem..the bottle most likely won't be there when it becomes clear just how much one is risking for such little reward. Therefore I believe the risk -reward ratio mustn't be so far apart. The minimum ROI target I'd say should be 20%. But I personally like to play anything ranging from 30-100%
Lower risk=lower reward. Higher risk=higher reward. But the crucial point being, as a means to the end in question, both are open to an equal amount of failure. 70+ winning bets@1/10=£10k. 24 winning bets @1/3=£10k. 10 winning bets @EVS=£10k. The risk will forever shadow the probability... |

superfootytips on twitter has done it a couple of times
He has done it once, not a couple of times, he is a bit of joke. If you tallied up all the money he has used to get to that 1k, it would probably be 1k ![]() Can be done, but discipline, good game choices and a little luck. |
|
By:
Yep just what I thought, almost impossible. The risk ratio is an interesting point as every once in a while a long shot comes along especially with the amount of games now available to bet on. For me this is about trying to boost bankroll and improve self control.
Just for the crack I will start tonight with £2 my 1st is Real/Porto over 1.5 goals@ 1.18. Although thats looking dodgy right now, is another 1st go epic failure on the cards. |
|
By:
That's correct, gazman. It's not so important that we hit EVERY single bet we place. Top of the priority chart alongside sound bets is good discipline and money management. The problem with these type of challenges is that most people are either too impatient to wait for sound bets, or after a certain amount of failures they throw a tantrum and start going back to their £10-£20 14 team accas in an effort to win a big lump sum all at once. All that nonsense is the perfect recipe for wiping out your bank time and time again.
btw Nice to see you cleared the 1st hurdle ![]() |

£2.35 onto
bet no 2) Pandurii v Dinamo Bucharest Under 3.5 Goals - Over/Under 3.5 Goals Betfair Bet ID 1:46448838031 | Placed: 17-Feb-15 18:49:50 traded for £0.17 profit. 3) 2.52 @ 1.26 for Munich over 1.5 goals. |

By:
The positive to take from it is that you lost buttons. While many will have lost scores, hundreds, thousands by backing Bayern -1 etc... |
|
By:
Haha that's why I only bet buttons now, the thrill is in winning not how much you win. I learnt that a long time ago. You can't help but laugh but that's sport. The 2nd best team in the world against a team who is on a winter break and who cannot play at home due to civil war. 3rd bet down bloody brilliant:-D
|
|
By:
Think i would have avoided war weary Ukranian side tbh why not start with +0.5 goals and build up as u seem to like doing quite a few bets in a day.
It will help ur confidence too. gl. |
|
By:
I believe going too fast makes it much more likely to fail as well. But again, this need for speed is usually brought about by playing prohibitive, prohibitive odds. For example I'd rather have 10-20 bets at low-mid odds over 20 days than have double that amount(backing lower odds, in possibly half the time) when chasing the same target...
