ive noticed this many times surely betfair know the time of kick off. they surely noo when to suspend betting. this

That's right. But is it not your responsibility to confirm how long they will play for before you place your bet? It's a friendly, they don't always play two periods of 45 minutes each in these kind of games.
The quarrel I'd have with Betfair is that their timeline suggests that two 45-minute periods will be played, when they apparently know that that is not the case. According to Betfair, they're now in the 62nd minute of play, when obviously they have not played 62 minutes of football. When they kicked off the second half, they showed it was the 46th minute when it should've been the 36th minute. Maybe you should point that out to them when you make your complaint, as that is misleading.

betfair still make a book.they suspend the betting all times, how much did they deceive on 00 half time when game had been stopped after 36 mins or so STINKS

Would you not agree that a football game is 45 mins each way unless stated Quatsch? I would! In this circumstance I would expect them to point it the fact it's only 35 mins a half so I can bet accordingly. Fact is they didn't know and we're taking bets up until 35 mins based on a 45 min half. I'd already had a previous conversation on chat in which I was told they had no idea why the game had stopped and they were waiting to see if it would restart. Paint it how you like but it's a void all day long unless your playing by bf rules obviously

not gonna void, read the rules - All bets stand at FT according to match officials. It was out there that the match was 2x35 min

kv1893: I'd expect an official match (league, cup, etc.) to be played out in two periods of 45 minutes each, plus stoppage time. But this is a friendly and those aren't always 90 minutes long. Sometimes they play two periods of 30 minutes each, three periods of 20 minutes each, or even three periods of 30 minutes each. You can't just assume things when it comes to a friendly match.
If Betfair was customer-minded, they would make the effort to mention the period of time to be played before someone places a bet. (I'm sure they could somehow incorporate a pop-up window of some kind that would clear this up before the bet is actually placed, and that the bettor would than have to agree to having read.) But can you think of any company the size of Betfair that fits that description?
Having said that, I don't think they are under any obligation to do so. It's our responsibility as bettors to find out how much time will be played before considering placing a bet. Just as we should go through the trouble of knowing how many subs are allowed, and things like that. (You don't want to bet good money on a favorite at low odds if you know there's a chance that the second-string team will be playing the second half.)

I do agree, by the way, that Betfair were just as clueless as we were. That says a lot about how the company (the exchange part, anyway) is being run. Not sure I'd feel happy about that if I was a shareholder.

Spoke to them on the phone Quatsch and give your reasoning as well as mines again! Same answer as before. There markets are based on regulations etc the ref can basically blow up anywhere after 30 mins and it's all gd for betfair. Even though there still taking bets on a 45 min outcome right up till it ends at 35 mins! Got a free sportsbook bet. Marketing team have decided no voids, result stands and staying that way no matter what

Market was hammered from about 65 mins onwards so quite a few people knew. 3's for o0.5 isn't the right price for 70 minutes.
draw should have been about 1.11 at 68 mins but It was 1.4 !
Yeah but u0.5 was 2.4 5 mins before FT and 1.5 at FT. Nearly impossible to get money on as market was dropping like a stone.
I don't wish to be indelicate, but I won ££££s on this match - the info that it was only 35mins each half was clearly available.
