Tottenham fan here. We are below Southampton. Repeat we are below Southampton (but above Arsenal!). This thread was started by rival fans (the mighty Chelsea - hope you don't have to play Bradford every week , and Arsenal who's players celebrated the win at Man City more than Tottenham did in beating them).
The Spurs Files have had 25 postings since the final whistle yesterday till now. This thread critisising us has had more. It was a game. We beat Arsenal fair and square just like we beat Chelsea earlier. GET OVER IT. Tottenham are still miles away from being a really decent team and I fully expect us to get embarrassed by Chelsea in the final. Of course if things don't go to plan for the Blues, they could always get awarded with a goal they never scored just like the last time. |

If that's the case then why were so many on spuds fans acting like their the new Real Madrid and kane the new Ronaldo?? All they did was win 3 points, manes nothing if they cant now go and beat loserpool away on Tuesday and kane scoring the winner |

You lot do go way over board Lance

lance sums it up quite well. i would say most spurs fans are pleasantly surprised at how well we've done since the frankly awful first 3 months of the season. we're heavily reliant on kane, eriksen and lloris
we're in a cup final and in contention for a top 4 place and i still expect we'll be a few points short. top 4 doesn't really mean a great deal to me anyway. the feeling when the winner went in yday and at the final whistle will far exceed that should we end up in a top 4. it's just a few more glamourous away trips and probably an absolutely hiding at the nou camp or somewhere like that let's face it whoever finishes 3rd and 4th they are all very moderate sides who more than likely will be thumped by any top european side |

special one - two spurs fans come on here and give a fair honest assessment and you still keep on .
are you on meds ? |

The only time Tottenham have played in the said Champions League (stupid name as not many that win it were actually Champions of their own domestic league) they conducted themselves quite nicely and proceeded further into the competition than Arsenal did in that year if I remember correctly.....

and further than man city in numerous hapless efforts

Bizarre thread keeps getting more weird.
Not a single Spurs fan across the site has gone overboard about yesterday's win, merely celebrated beating their biggest rival and playing well in the process (a rare treat). |

My honest assessment of them is that I honestly am not bothered one single bit about where they are in the league and yesterday's results and I don' think any Arsenal fan really is, as said yesterday, we all know how this ends, they don't have the strength in depth and first team quality to match Arsenal until the end of the season, they are heavily reliant on Harry Kane to win them matches, the only other match winner they have is Eriksson and he is a I'll show up when I feel like it kind of player, yesterday they inevitably got up for what is there biggest game of the season, Arsenal at home, if they played like that against every team they wouldn't be fifth every year, which is where they will finish this season, and where they will again be weighed down by uwafer cup football which if they had any sense, they'd ask to be withdrawn from. Second big issue is the biggest issue, they have a system in place within their hierarchy which doesn't allow for their manager to sign the players he wants, manager after manager has fallen victim to the Technical director's interference, and their moneyball merchants such as Comoli who scout and sign players above their heads and come up with Lame Ella, Capoue, Dembele, Chadli, Stambouli and Pauline, all much of a muchness, an unbalanced, uncharacterised team with the end-result being another managerial sacking, another scapegoat for Levy.
Recently heard someone referencing something Shankley or someone else associated with Liverpool said about Man United when they were also-rans and Liverpool were dominating, that if "that club down the road ever get it right, they'd be dangerous", and they went and got a top manager - same applies to Tottenham, they have the potential but they don't understand how important a manager is, a manager that can't sign his own players inevitable results in what they've had, 12 different one's since Wenger took over down the road and so the cycle continues. |

sounds like you aren't bothered
