Anyone else get there winninsg from the Ghana game yesterday? I placed a bet with another bookmaker and they voided the bet. Surely this bet has got to stand as it is not being replayed and ghana were awarded win. Can anyone clarify?
Thanks

Didn't bet on that but shouldn't have been voided. Although 90mins weren't played (they randomly added on 6+ mins) so who knows whats in their small print

'another bookmaker' - what flummery is this. such circumlocution is rarely unpremeditated.   Why so coy?

The match was "completed" but not the full 90 mins + stoppage time was played

All depends on what the books terms and conditions say about such events

was with 188bet, they are saying the game is void due to the match not being completed, this dont sound right to me in this instance,

The Ghana win must have been the worst result in their book but the match was completed.

Bet they don't void the Tunisia match recently where none of the 2 mins IT was played and the ref blew 30 secs early as well.

The full 90 min WAS played.

The referee is the time keeper and he did not freeze the clock.

No it wasn't, when the match was stopped it was around the 82nd min

When they resumed the match the clock was set to 90 mins and they just played 3 mins stoppage time

So a whole 8 mins not played, plus there was lots of stoppage time

Think what Stringer means is, full time is entirely at the discrection of the referee. So if 90 mins is actually played or not is irrelavant -  its upto the ref to time it so he can call ft whenever.

Scummy decision to void that. The full match was played.
