First goal here is huge.... Malaga haven't dropped even one point this season from a winning position.
Valencia usually quite clinical in terms of shots to goals ratio on awaydays, so if its a dull affair with few openings, Valencia would be my pick to sneak it.

Agreed GI, I'm looking at a 3 bed with a pool and they start around £65k. Intend to go over in April and have a serious look. I've a friend who has an apartment in Villa Martin, nice area.

there is a point in a game - it just happened here - where the price of the team that is behind absolutely flies out ; Valencia went from 18 to 25 over the course of about 2-3 mins.
they (Valencia) now back in to 21 (i thought the drift was overegged)

its difficult if you have no links to the uk.
the one thing people havent thought of is the tax avoidance side of things and the fact you could get done easily for tax fraud especially as a new information agreement between 40 countries is almost in place.
saying that spain are going to allow exchange licenses when they can be bothered to end their siesta lol.
would imagine there could be a higher commision over there plus youd have to pay tax on profits over 2500 euros.
its difficult if you have no links to the uk.
the one thing people havent thought of is the tax avoidance side of things and the fact you could get done easily for tax fraud especially as a new information agreement between 40 countries is almost in place.

I know a bit about it GI, but it will only apply to high profile caeses and large amounts, the likes of you and I winning (ha ha) on Betfair wont be touched.
HMRC doesn't have the resources to go after the small fry
the tax man in the uk wouldnt be after gamblers but spain might be if a persons bank account increased and their tax return paid no tax...!!

if you stayed over 183 days in a tax year there youd have to file a spanish one too with worldwide earnings.
think quite a few left when they introduced some system where people had to declare foreign assets....because it would pinpoint tax avoidance by some..
the eu have questioned it because they say there is a system in place to report non declared assets and £££.....which i belive is the one i mentioned earlier....also the fines were silly.something like 10k for any info left out..
imo i wouldnt fk with any tax authority and look up whats required first.
my freinds in spain were telling me the other day they have declared some kind of amnesty for foreigners whohavent paid back taxes...so wont fine them but still want any differences in tax owed between the uk and spain.

That's interesting GI, you obviously know far more about the Spanish side of things than I do. In the UK, in the main, gambling is not taxable because if you tax the profits you'd also need to relieve all the losses of those that lose regularly. I dont make big profits on Betfair, I work full time so this is more of a hobby to me. It would be the same in Spain because I'd have my main income and I dont intend to spend the rest of my time online! Those fines sounds quite heavy, much different to the UK where it's all about behaviours and the penalties tend to be low. I agree though, dont play with the tax authorities, be upfront and at least you'll sleep at night!!
