Long overdue that Chiles is going.

His constant "witty" asides are unbearable.

The several million £'s that ITV paid to get Adrian Chiles & Christine Bleakley was a huge waste of money, and somebody got it terribly wrong !! Both of 'em massively over-rated.  I'm not one to celebrate anybody getting sacked, but won't be sorry to see him go....and presume he's still got all the money ITV paid for him so he'll be alright. Should have been sacked ages ago !

I like him, possibly the best football presenter of the last 20 years. Would not be appreciated or understood of course by the average footballer or football fan.

Always worried when he was alongside Roy Keane. Keane is thee sort of chap, not unusual amongst the working classes, who should you say something slightly unusual a confused, worried look would come over their faces. You would see them become anxious and angry and physical violence could not be ruled out...This was the problem poor Adrian Chiles faced.

The problem Adrian Chiles faced was despite working in the media for god knows how long he couldn't finish a sentence without stuttering and making himself look incredibly nervous or under prepared.

They so thought people would like him as he's like the man in the pub. The problem was

1 He's not. He was a finance journalist
2 Deaf Jeff from my local knows more than him and he lives in his car.

Fair play to him how he got that far on such limited ability

Yes you're right - he has got the sort of face that's asking to be punched.

To be fair, his recent comments about the 2012 Olympics I'm not surprised they have let him go.

what football is on itv anyways apart from internations....

He's been on BBC radio for a while now.

Didn't mind him. Always tongue in cheek.

I liked him good on working lunch as well,inoffensive.

I thought he was good on MOTD2 set the right tone between serious football chat and humour.  None of the presenters that have followed him have matched him imo.  but tbf something has been lost in translation since his move to ITV.

I think the issue was that he was found to be working in this Country without a work permit and was last seen in handcuffs being escorted onto an Easyjet flight...

The whereabouts of Christine Bleakley are unknown but I have heard that she has made 127 return flights from Manchester to New York since Christmas......

I liked Chiles too. Have to agree with Ffaith when he says MOTD2 was the right vehicle for him to do what he's best at, lighthearted quips mixed in with a bit of hang dog self deprecation.
