The idea that Barca would let Messi leave is ridiculous itself but not half as ridiculousridiculous as the idea Messi would sign for Jose ExcitedLaugh

Jose & Chelsea have no class.

City would always out bid them.

The only other club in the world Messi would ever consider signing for is United Laugh

It's a little known fact that when he was growing up his footballing idol was Steve MacManaman.

Will make Torres seem bargain of the century.
Overrated little dwarf
Not exactly a team man eg tells Sanchez he didn't think he was worth the money and his job isn't to score just pass to him.
Report sj January 6, 2015 7:33 PM GMT
I doubt even Chelsea's centre forward jinx could stop Messi
Report scummbag January 6, 2015 7:39 PM GMT
Not sure if you're all aware, but Kevin Keegan signed for Southampton from Hamburg when he was european player of the year. I hear Messi is a big fan of Koeman.
Just saying.

I would rather see Eden Hazard sign a new deal.
Report Biscuit1979 January 7, 2015 7:08 PM GMT
No chance that he will ever leave Barca
Report Winner_Winner_Chicken_Diner January 7, 2015 7:18 PM GMT
He is throwing the toys out of the pram at the minute because the manager has the audisity to not start him in the last game because he didnt show up until last Friday from his holidays and decided not to bother training on Monday after the loss and started following Chelsea players on instagram trying to make a point.
Like a baby because he has been put on the wing for Suarez, Messi unless he gets his way is a horrible little cretin. Enrique at least has the balls to stand up to him and show he's not bigger than the club.
Report Bergkamp93 January 7, 2015 7:18 PM GMT
Will Cost Chelsea 690 million altogether which Includes everything, Price, Wages and Tax bills

No chance !!

Enrique will be sacked before the start of next season.

Stuart Pearce tipped to be the man to continue the decline of the club started by Tato Martino with Board looking to finish mid table and reach the final of the Catalunya Cup.

Fu ck him couldn't save my dough when 1-0 down against Sociadad. Never scored in England and knowing our luck if we signed him he'd continue on that run Sad

He's scored against both United and City in England

Even ignoring FFP is he actually worth the money? the sort of £200m type figure, prob £20m+ for agents then wages. Not used to paying tax either, so his wages will be astronomical at a presumably higher rate of tax.

I know City and Chelsea wouldn't miss that money but it's still a big risk. Any player can get injured, prob higher chance in England too. Little or no resale value (relatively). If he was 3 years younger maybe
Report lurka January 8, 2015 2:02 PM GMT
Messi is not bigger than the club, but he is bigger than any and all of the players & officials at the club, incl Enrique, who appears to have fallen out with him. Schoolboy error

On the other hand would you pay £20.00 for him out of your own pocket. Cos that's what it would be like to the City owners
Report themover January 8, 2015 3:01 PM GMT
even if City wanted to FFP would prevent them doing so

There are only two clubs in the world who 'earn' enough money to buy Messi and they are United & Real Madrid.

Would United want to take their team apart and build a new one around a 28 year old Messi?
