Surely not? Eddie Howe had a little spell up north a while ago and soon returned home. Why would he want to go to such a difficult club?? He has a fantastic squad at Bournemouth where he can be his own man without interference. Although Newcastle have a huge fan base they have little to show since the days of the Fairs Cup. Something obviously wrong there....so why go??

Agree with all that "call it a day". When I'd seen him as a contender in the Chron the other day, I thought it was a windup. Can't see it myself.
