What are your bets? Roma at 2.5 looks about the right price can't see any value in match odds.

Aguero FC minus Aguero is doomed. They're garbage away from home and Roma will start too fast for them. They had their number in the first game and were by far the better side. Roma to advance, I'll say 3-1

Rome is the greatest City in the world. Beautiful weather, fantastic food and drink, a lovely city to walk around. Any City fan who there for tonight's match can't really be a city fan at all.

Roma will win this game in 90 minutes, look at the last time City played away in Europe without Aguero at CSKA. Roma at home will be too good for them.

Italy's second best team and even then I'd say the weak side City put out tonight is still better than them, on paper. But City are inexplicably poor in the CL, so not bet for me.

if city win and Moscow win ,Moscow will qualify, perhaps munich might let Moscow win.moscow have the head to head over city.and munich would be taking two stronger sides out of the comp.

and if it ends in a draw and Moscow win ,Moscow will still go through.moscow could be worth a few quid at 1000/1

Why would you not just back CSKA to win tonight @12s?

They won't come into sub 100s if they win tonight, so the better value is backing them to win tonight.

Especially as a win doesn't even guarantee they qualify either (if Roma win they are still out).

good point I never thought of that, but the 40 quid I put on them gives me a chance of 40 grand, imagine if they got  through and drew Monaco or porto .I know I am throwing money away but its not too often that I say that if Moscow win the champions league I will win 40 grand.it sounds good.Laugh

I just hope that munich put out their second team or don't bother putting the effort in because they have nothing to play for,and will not want injuries.a lot of teams lose after they qualify.

Another reason is because I moved most of my gambling to another site because of all the botting I get on this one,so it would be nice to go out with 40 grand.(he he)but I really have decided to leave betfair, and I will still do some small bets on this site until they stop the botting.i am on a one man strike so to speak.Grin

Look at the last time Roma played at home in Europe. They were also pretty poor at the weekend v Sassuolo. A performance like either of those two games and they'll lose.

They looked good against inter biscuit and made what 6 changes at the weekend resting players for this I presume. Nianggolan is the beast who makes a massive difference to their intensity.

Funny as **** that betfair's biggest City fan, themover, is missing yet another CL game. No wonder City get hit by FFP fines if their fans refuse to go to matches Laugh

good 0-4 win for the under 19's v Roma earlier...5 wins out of 5 in the UEFA Youth League Cool
By:

When: 10 Dec 14 16:24
this is how it works.
1 if roma win they qualify.
2 if roma and city draw and Moscow win.moscow qualify.
3.if  city win and Moscow win .Moscow qualify.
4 if city win and Moscow lose .city qualify.
5 if both games end in a draw .0-0= roma qualify .1-1=city qualify on goal difference.
6.ROMA have the head to head over Moscow, and Moscow have the head to head over City.
7.city have the best goal difference but head to head is used first if teams finish on the same number of points.
8.any other draw over 1-1 in the roma v city game will give city the head to head over roma.
9.if Moscow win city are out.
10.if roma win ,they qualify.(see number 1)
11.moscow can not qualify with a draw.
By:

one last stat.-if city score a goal Roma must win the game or they are out.

By:

the ball is at roma's foot.if they win they qualify, the other two teams depend on the other things happening.
By:
lurka
When: 10 Dec 14 17:06
So bayern win and 1-1 City draw will be the bare minimum and City will go through on 6 points.
By:
brassneck
When: 10 Dec 14 17:07
good point mover.roma are the only team that can go through without scoring.
By:
brassneck
When: 10 Dec 14 17:08
that is correct Lurka, city would go through on goal difference.

i'll be keeping an eye out for a late twist in the to qualify market. always drama with city involved

themover (theArmchairFan) doesn't care about the Champions League because it's a level above City's (nap)
By:
brassneck
When: 10 Dec 14 17:25
if city heard that Moscow were winning 2 or 3 goals they would give up and let roma win.SO if Moscow want to qualify they would have to score a very late goal,so I guess there will be a lot of fake injuries in the munich v Moscow game to delay it if munich decide not to bother playing with commitment.
