It is everyone Englishman's duty to keep the Scots in their place.

For once Scotland fans aren't really that bothered, don't even think it's a sellout. We've got bigger fish to fry.

Mind you might feel a bit different after a few drinks tomorrow Silly

considering england fans cant even be bothered buying tickets for wembley to watch a match id say yes.

im scottish and couldnt give a toss about the national team, havent for years.  was around the berti vogts era when league 1 and championship reserves were given shots ahead of folk in the SPL.  since then ive not missed it.

Should be a good test for England to see how far they've come. Probably be outclassed though.

The only thing that mattered was beating Ireland. I'd even accept just a 3-0 win tomorrow.

Overwhelmingly meh about this one for now, probably wouldn't even bother watching if it was in my back garden.

Come 7:45 tomorrow that may change, but it's only a friendly. Might as well be playing Slovakia or Finland If we got another referendum with a victory, that would interest me Laugh

I was kind of hoping Scotland would play a full team and we'd rest people as Scotland could have been good value, but if it comes down to it the English reserves are obviously a lot better than the Scotland. Most the English reserves would walk in to the Scotland side

Still carrying a grudge of Sturridge & Sterling G1?

Roy was there, he knows what was said. BR is getting his info 2nd hand.

Don't be silly. Sterling, Sturridge and Cahill are probably the only players who would get anywhere near the Scotland team.

it was a bad idea to schedule this match in the middle of scotland qualifiers.

it's different for england as they have been given their usual free pass to the finals.

there will always be interest in scotland v england but it's not anywhere near as important as the euro qualifiers.

I expect the england fans will feign disinterest in the match if scotland win but they will be jumping all over the forum shouting and boasting if england win.

maloney should ahve about 100 caps imo , but for some reason he never got picked or maybe some injuries

look at caps of players in the last few year , just played mainly journeymen from down england

strachans got us playing ok though , should really be undefeated

No. It's Scotland. And, I should add, England. Who cares? It's a rubbish game between two rubbish teams. With **** all to play for. Why bother?

As an England fan I'm interested to watch but I won't be getting too hung up on the result either way. I've seen Scotland play a few times lately and have been impressed. They don't have the best players in the world but they play it simple, keep the ball well and move it fast. They are also motivated by a manager that has taken the shackles off. England are just bang average. They have got some decent players but their attempts to play a "continental game" means they just end up playing football that is slow, predictable and boring to watch.

Scotland are not rubbish. We are playing a kind of football not seen by the national team in over 20 years.

We have quite a few players who are underrated. David Marshall is a quality keeper. Russell Martin reads the game as well as any defender. Andrew Robertson could end up being anything. Scott Brown isn't particularly good at anything but commands the centre of the park. James Morrison has that touch of quality that can play a pass through a needle. Sean Maloney when on his game is superb. Ikechi Anya has been an unbelievable find. Stevie Naismith works unbelievably hard and has improved immensely. And Steven Fletcher when fit is an excellent forward for the way we play. A record of 1 defeat in 10 which was v Germany where we could of got something doesn't lie.

Strachan is the man that has made it happen. It's like he was born to be an international manager. You see Hodgson on the touchline and he looks absolutely petrified.

interesting stuff. reads like a who's who of average PL and Championship players. be nice for the Scots to see someone who plays for a bigger team than Sunderland, one for the grandchildren

Maybe that's why England are so overrated, average players playing in bigger teams full of foreigners. It doesn't make them better, they are still average players.

I am English and don't bother with any meaningless friendlies.

Most of us now struggle to bother with competitive matches now after watching years of dross.

Woy is boring, his team is boring and the World Cup fiasco sums up our team at present.

Scotland love the English, as was seen in last months vote.

Can't wait to see their faces went it pans across on their national anthem, knowing that they sold their souls.

This fixture can never be just a friendly. I will watch hoping for a decent game, but I expect a frantic match and to be honest I have been impressed by the recent improvement of Scotland.

Who can forget this beauty though Grin

England fans dont care about this game. Slovenia and Estonia are about the equivalent to Scotland and the fans only bother when being presented with a challenge.Scotland will never be a challenge
