Hi- have an accum alive into the Wycombe burton game tonight. If it's 0-0 I'll win 4k.
What's the best way to trade this out? Take a punt and lay the draw for all of it? Advise greatly appreciate
D as I'm confusing myself at this stage

8/1 for 0-0 . lay 8/1 for 300 quid .  cant see this being a 0-0 . 300 quid win or 1600 if its a draw. you never said what your initial stake was

What if it's a scoring draw? You state 0-0 so assuming this is the only bet you'll be able to trade?

8/1 is a short price for an 0-0,
some of the 0-0's can be double
that so degsy's advice is sound.

Laying the 0-0 to lose £2400 may be
a problem for the OP, needing that
money in account.Sad? GL

For once Ken, I am going to agree with you (and it didn't hurt one bit).

Is it a bookies bet or online ie cash out option?

0-0 is now 11.5.  How about laying 0-0 HT at around 3.0 for £500.  If it's still 0-0 at HT then odds will drop and you can lay off again?

JM, be careful
you may get into a rut.

Small stakes punter unlikely to find these lay liabilities, if no cash out available then let it run imo..

£22k on over 0.5 returns just under £2k

0-0 and 'no goalscorer' are the same price here. For future reference NEVER back 0-0 if that is the case. degsy has given you good advice here.

personally i don't think it will finish a draw, i would green up even on all outcomes prior to KO. You'll probably get out at 11 if you stick your money in the queue now. You can always bet a portion of your profit eg laying the draw if it's level late in the match or some other bet you might like after watching a bit of it.

Can only assume that the op is on the draw rather than 0-0 as that would be a strange acca punt in a bookies..

I'm wondering if this is just a single £400 on the 0-0 to win £4k Laugh

Mischief Really can't fancy 0-0 here as per my punts Shocked, Wycombe look strong to me..

I'd clear out the 2.96 and 2.98 HT while thinking about it. What are odds likely to be if 0-0 HT?

Thanks guys, never even thought of laying 0-0 at ht

Tiny stake, 4 correct scores, just messing around to have an interest

Let it ride and every time the ball goes in the box scream at the telly "miss ya baastard, miss ya baastard, miss ya baastard"

Never fails.

what's your position now OP?
By:

When: 17 Nov 14 20:55
I know it's no use now. But having thought about what other posters have said it may have been best to lay 0-0 HT and then continue to lay them all the way down especially when below evens.  But I'm a bit tanked now so probably talking bo11ocks.

Thanks a million for all the help lads.
Whether it was right or wrong (after having a pint to mull over your comments) I laid the draw to win 800, liability 2k
had a small back of the draw at 2-0 at 18/1

btw if I had laid the 0-0 HT - what would I have done if it had got to half time at 0-0 - I would be down a grand? what should you do then?
By:
marychain1
When: 18 Nov 14 09:07
Presumably you would have been able to lay 0-0 ft at a smaller price than it was at the start
By:
Charlie
When: 18 Nov 14 16:53
First thing I'd do would be to open another bottle of wine.  And maybe order a curry.
Then I'd put a big wad on BTTS with the intention of laying the draw when odds are below evens and continue to lay as odds shortened. I'd also investigate the correct score markets especially 0-2 and 2-0.
