I deposited with them this evening and since I have had nothing put difficulties accessing my account. I can't access my account. I spoke to a lady who sent me an e-mail with a password reset and this still won't work. I've never known anything like it. No one will pick up the phone now. Can anyone reassure this paranoid mind?!

Taking a closer look at the website I am thinking I've been stiched up. Something just isn't quite right about it.

Is it legitimate? I appreciate all companies can have technical issues; it's just a get a bad feeling about this.

Site looks fine, they have a live chat feature you could try.

Long after being dumped by the "respectable" big books, I opened an account with Vernons. Absolutely fine. Don't use it much, had one bet dispute which was resolved quickly. No complaints.

they are ok in my limited experience.

If I recall correctly call centre is in Mauritius, quite new, and people are clueless.

I wouldn't worry.

For younger readers, Vernons was the second biggest football pools company pre national lottery.

It's fine, but they are the slowest at paying you, an unacceptable 4 working days before it arrives back to your bank account.
Try their 'Tuesday No Lose Day' on Casino (see 'Promotions'). Deposit a tenner, if you win, fine. If you don't, contact them on Wednesday after 1pm to say you lost the tenner, and they'll give you £10 bonus money (non-withdrawable) back to have another go. So in effect, you're getting two chances to make a profit.

Some shocking complaints on ask gamblers site.
Changed ownership like prem teams change managers.
To get £500 payment one guy had to send them a photo of his self with that days paper and when he did they still didn't pay as he didn't include his hands in the photo.
Glad I missed out on this lot.

My mum and sis won £1000 on spot the ball I when she worked there, but in the Liverpool echo comp. she worked half day sat then, we all knew they,d won before she got home. All the kids were talking to her when she walked up the road saying things like " are you going to buy a new car Elaine " etc.... She starting screaming and ran in the house  shouting we,ve won the pools, we,ve won the pools. My dad said  " shut up you  loon who wins the pools at 1pm on a Saturday. No games had even kicked off back then. She still gets stick for it now. 1k were,nt to be sniffed at back then though

Do not even think about opening an account with any firm associated with Titanbet..

They are clueless robbers who ask for id time and time again.

The WORST ever are Marathonbet...

Do not under any circumstances bet with this bunch of liars. They still owe me money and to my shame I gave up chasing it as I nearly had a nervous breakdown.I spent hours on the phone to their office in Brighton.

Don't worry they will get theirs next time I am in England....

They operate some units as Panbet and it's Russians or similar who run them.
I know someone who works for them. Not to be messed with Laugh
