I'm sure the good doctor had similar thoughts last season as for this season Chelsea look strong and we just looked really poor

Not sure if they will prove to have a strong enough mentality to win it

Goals for Liverpool after 50 games:

Sturridge 36
Torres 34
Fowler 32
Owen 28
Suarez 21

You can buy the 'Stepover Kid' from us if you like Dr.... Based on the Torres sale, you can have him for £60m.

By:

When: 18 Aug 14 17:52
not that much at lverpool

even 10 more year at 20 would have made him top

and i suspect he could have fired in more than 30 for a few moe year , he left at 24-25

real madrid ro newcastle he probably couldnt be fecked trying to get fit

By:

When: 18 Aug 14 17:59
yes i meant that after he left real madrid he was plagued by injuries, never had the consistency and lost a lot of his pace, was not the same player in the later years so i couldn't ever see him being liverpool's top scorer in these circumstances!
By:

When: 18 Aug 14 18:02
maybe not top then but far up

did liverpool want to keep him when he left for real
By:

first season for newcastle 11 games 7 goals then bam he was finished

there are different versions of who wanted what thechaser when he was moved on.

the cruciate injury at the 2006 WC was the start of the end

the stepover kid not good enough for man city not good enough for chelsea but good enough for liverpool who have never won the premiership that says it all

By:

When: 18 Aug 14 18:11
you are such a fool dr not really worth a reply

it did liverpool good because he was 2nd in the divisions scoring charts and got us CL football again Crazy

if chelsea had a 'stepover kid' last season they could have won the league.
By:

When: 18 Aug 14 18:13
stepover kid has played 25 games in europe and 2 goals

but he has improved and is a regular now so lets see how he goes

if we had messi we would have won the prem
By:

whether he manages the same without suarez is another matter!

bR wants another striker because the current back up is not deemed good enough

IF sturridge gets injured (and he has been prone to niggles) what are the back up options, they are not great.
