Despite all of the players Southampton have lost, that doesn't seem like the worse line up in the world for Southampton, especially if Pelle can hit the ground running.
Still have two solid defensive midfield players in there and decent full backs. Unsure of the two centre backs who I don't think are up to it at this level, lack a bit of pace that Sturridge could exploit. Given Gerrards age and Lucas recent injuries, you could argue that Southampton have the more powerful midfield. |
