I think it's almost inevitable that the MLS will go down that route. If they want the league to grow then it needs better paid big name players to play in it. In a few years time i reckon the MLS will be doing the same as basketball where there's a salary cap but if you go over it you just pay a fine (think they call it a luxury tax)
Totally agree with that, and i would not mind if that was the case !!!.but i do like the mix of unknown homegrown talent and locals getting a chance !!
