After watching all the last 16 games there is no clear favourite. Everyone of the 8 teams left have a good chance of winning the tournament.

USA have not surprised me tbh ,they have a unique style and play to there strength and have more than held their own in a tough section for world cups for a long time ,they get it tight in south America and no easy games ,it breeds toughness and character . But don't forget they are a huge country in their own right and also draw on duel nationality ,it needs tightened as in the future the likes of Costa Rica ect will not be able to compete .

Kompany was rock solid. The two full backs Vertongen and Alderweireld were very poor defensively.
Yep USA team is a mirror image of their MLS teams.

have never rated Kompany, he is fine playing the dross in the english league,
he has been a nightmare in the CL and he was rank defensively tonight,
he did have a great run forward before sclaffing the ball wide.

The uruquyan who plays for Atletico is a fantastic defender,
defending is not my thing though, football nowadays is all about the ball players , defenders cant defend because
