... statement to FIFA.

This guy will lie (and cheat) to suit his own means to no end.  Honestly, who does he think he is fooling?

Cretin, cretin, cretin.

Suarez defence in line with response to past incidents. Don't recall any apology to Patrice Evra yet (a punishment Suarez disputes)

What do you say when Rooney dives in the box and then goes off to confront the referee for not awarding the penalty?
Majority of players and all people are delusional.

An embarrassing and cringeworthy response from a persistent cheater. He is in total denial.

He knows fine it was deliberate, just look at his face coming off the pitch.

The statement was most likely some last desperate attempt to avoid punishment.

Football players and managers lie about incidents all the time in order to avoid punishment.

It is probably more the norm than actually telling the truth.

Nothing new here.

It's you who is mentally challenged. Do not play the sympathy card and do an injustice to people who are genuinely ill.

It is easy and convenient for LFC fans to now start saying he is unwell because that would rather believe that than accept the truty. G1, you petty scumm er.

The Tooth hurts, eh.

If you think he is genuinely ill, stop asking for £80m for him because if that is the case he career will be restricted. Ever thought of that? Nope.

Don't ever wonder why LFC fans have such a bad reputation for this kind of thing.

Taken your point as correct G1. Do you believe it wrong to sell him for a huge profit on what you bought for? Surely the best for all parties is him sectioned and can only comeback once he passes a shrink?
By:

When: 28 Jun 14 15:32
Let's play along with him being mentally ill then, surely that prohibits him from playing the game then doesn't it, as he's a danger to others on the field of play.

G1_Jockey_4
When: 28 Jun 14 15:33
so your saying biting is a normal every day act of violence used by adults....go figure.

if he got into a scrap ....no argument.

biting is not normal....and your whole argument trying to deflect the actual act away from any form of mental illness to have a pop at another group of fans.

who gives a **** about reputations.
that just brownie point scoring to have a dig at opposition supporters.

suarez being mentally chalenged is nto a subject to be using for petty brownie points unless you are ignorant, thick or a complete ****.

G1, he bites to get a reaction from the opponents. He is a cheater. Cheats, cheat, again and again. It is his nature. Do not confuse with mental illness. It is the wrong thing to do and totally disingenuous.

you dont get it.

biting in any situation.........is not normal.

not normal is normally because the person is NOT NORMAL....ie.mental

Nor is being racist. But he did that to wind up the opponents. He is a CHEATER.

Remember his handball in the last world cup? And how he celebrated after the game.

I say to you again. Do not label him unwell until he has been officially diagnosed. He is just a cheater. It's his nature.
By:
sintonian
When: 28 Jun 14 15:48
You dont get it, G1. All these incidents happen during a game of football. Why? To cheat.

Has he bitten anybody outside of a football game? Because if he is genuinely unwell there would be a circumstance for it to happen.

Do yourself a favour and don't play the illness card. It sucks.

Biting isn't normal behaviour, though I agree, that you can't necessarily say it definitely is a sign of mental illness with Suarez. I suspect it is, but doubt you can categorically say so. And I don't know if the current volume of DSM has biting as a mental disorder - I suspect not.

Stick to the evidence G1. Find some of his vile antics outside of football then I might agree about him being unwell.

“I still fight for every ball, want to win every game and get upset when I lose. On the field sometimes passion overwhelms you and you do things you regret afterwards. But you have a chance to learn from these things... [Suarez, June 15, 2014]

"passion" two weeks ago is now mental illness? He's even encouraged to maintain his bad boy image back home in Uruguay:

although that will probably change now.

If one of the players he bit had lamped him I guarantee he wouldn't do it again - there seems to be a few on here giving the impression of having a mental illness with their deluded attempts to somehow justify his behaviour
