Colombia 2.16, Draw 3.50, Ivory Coast 3.90

haven't seen much of these 2 sides play before , will be interested to see the style of play by both teams

draw may suit both teams...

i'm laying colombia in this one, they are a half decent side but nothing special

their odds are far too short in what is an evenly matched game

I have to agree a point for both teams from this match would put them in the box seat to qualify for the next stage. Also think Japan and Greece have to go for the win to advance.....draw would just about rule both out in the round of 16.

Don't think Colombia or Ivory Coast would have any fear of playing any of the teams in Group D: England, Italy, Uruguay or Costa Rica

Agree with the sentiment maybe backing a draw is worthwhile.  Can't imagine any team really going for it in the latter stages if its level.

The incentive for topping this group is that it would mean you are likely to get a winnable game in round 2 (England/Uruguay/Costa Rica) and also avoid having to play Brazil or Chile/Holland in the quarter final.

Colombia Team News:

Colombia
*Fredy Guarín is available for selection following his return from suspension and could come into the starting XI at the expense of *Carlos Sánchez alongside Abel Aguilar in midfield.
*Teófilo Gutiérrez netted in the 3-0 win over Greece and should keep his place in the starting XI.

That means Adrian Ramos and Jackson Martinez will have to settle for a place on the bench once more.

Ivory Coast team News:

Ivory Coast
*Arthur Boka may miss out having been substituted in the second half of their win over Japan due to injury.
*Constant Djakpa, who replaced Boka, is expected to come into the starting XI should the regular left-back miss out.
*Didier Drogba missed out on a place in the starting XI and should do so again here after Wilfried Bony netted in the 2-1 win at the weekend.

Gonna have to go for the Ivory coast here, they are the dark horse of the tournament for me. They play with good flair and i like their style.

Drogba should be brought on second half to finish these off hes always good for a late goal.

I have to lay Colombia at these odds. Ivory Coast are a decent side who are more than capable of winning this game. Take the lay just in case it's a draw.

Both teams will be happy with a draw which is why I'm thinking of 0-0 or 1-1 maybe. Think it'l be a bit cagey!

Before plaicing any bet on this game I would knead to read the South American Racing Post to see what the Columbian Cartel tipsters have backed!

If I found out and told you, I would have to kill you, otherwise I might disappear mysteriously!

I hope this clarifies the matter!

Wonder if the Colombian centre halves are dreading balls into their box for fear of scoring an OG?
