The sniper in charge was obviously told brazil had to win to prevent riots. No pen should have been sent off. Then Croatia score perfect goal and have a blatant pen denied.

I think it is safe to say that there wasn't a hope in hell Brazil would be allowed to exit the competition at the group stages by the powers that be. They would have had to declare a state of emergency with all the riots in the country.

Croatia are a country with quite literally 2% of the population of Brazil as well as a background of conflict and social pressure.
They deserve a plucky underdog status as much as any of the West African or Central American teams. Gutted tbh. |

Always admired Croatia, they have a population less than of Scotland but produce world class players, whatever they are doing they are doing it right.

I think u have to fear for the integrity of the competition already.it wouldn't be as bad if you couldn't just see everything coming.it was fairly clear Croatia were getting well on top and probably brazil needed the ref to intervene and see them home and he duly came through.

I seem to remember croatia do qualify for a lot of tournaments? Yes they qualified in 2002 and 2006, impressive for such a small country that can't afford to buy referees.

I would think the tv studios getting smashed up was just before the order to give brazil a pen They were fooled and the streets would have been blazing by now.

he drew a 12ft line on the pitch that was perfect ,most impressive but shame about the decisions ,it was a belt and braces approach as the keeper was havin a larf as well .
