Although i assume then his agent had a word with him and he then sent the other tweet to prevent his agent from looking a complete mug. Funny how his agent said it's not about money but then mentions Roberto carlos getting a Bugatti from Anzhi on his birthday. These outbursts are nearly always about money.
Plus there's footage of Toure getting a cake, and city announced his birthday on their facebook page on the day so the birthday bollox is clearly not true. A 31 year old bloke who's just won the league and earns 220k a week is not unhappy because the club didn't say happy birthday to him!
My guess is, his agent looks at someone like Rooney getting 300k a week and thinks, we should be getting that too. It'll get sorted behind the scenes and he'll end up signing a new contract for a few extra k a week.

If yaya walked by my falling to bits dump while pissing himself at my three wheeled lada parked outside, I wouldn't offer him a tunnocks tea cake, or offer him my lada as a gift for all the millions of hours of entertainment.

I feel symphathy for him as well though because my boss and the company i work for didn't do anything for my birthday either , I didn't get a Bugatti sports car or even a cake and the MD never came around to shake my hand, so leave the guy alone , I'm pretty sure more than one of you know exactly what he is going through.
Sell him. Even if his official age is 31 they've had the best from him. Let some other mug pay top dollar for his declining years and pay them a nice transfer fee and put it towards buying someone like Barkley.
