To be fair to Roy, he hasnt done that at all. He is taking all the kids that should be going.
Its just time to accept England have a poor group to choose from and Lampard is still probably deserving of a place. |

i think that the fact that lampard and gerrard are going to brazil is an endictment of engalands production of decent midfielders since the "golden generation"

On reflection, my initial post was a bit hasty (pre-squad announcement)
Just hope there's not a Gerrard, Lampard, Rooney triangle for each group match. It will just become slo-motion |
