Yesterday I placed an accumulator on the betfair sports bet app, they took the £78 for the bet from my account but I noticed the bet was not showing in my bets section. I spoke to an advisor via twitter who told me there was some problems but if the money has left my account the bet should be live. The bet won and should have paid out £160.... since iv been told that the bet wasn't placed successfully and I would be refunded my stake. Iv called to complain but told the same again! and when I asked to speak to a manager I was told that non we're available. Basically I feel cheated by betfair and cant believe the poor level of customer service... iv been a betfair user since the start and feel let down. If you take a bet you should honour it or at least offer some kind of compensation....?? Absolute JOKE!

he will have it sorted. the customer service are awful. i was spoken to like a piece of sh!t by one, I reminded him that he was a grunt working in a call centre. |

be interesting to hear whether people that placed losing bets were refunded. i'm sure somebody will come on here and let you know.

Sorry to hear about this but I do not think the bet is live until you have a bet I.D. Yesterday was a nightmare and I logged off early doors with no betting.
Good luck in getting somewhere with customer services but personally I think you are p1ssing in the wind. |

given the amount of money they should honour it for goodwill alone

If the bet lost, the money would have been taken from your account (nap)

if you look at it from their POV, they will have a load of bets, have to refund all losers and pay out all winners.
however, i very much doubt this will be the case. |
