Hello all.

Trying to locate value bets for games this Saturday on Oddschecker.com.

Heerenveen looked a good punt at odds of 2 with a couple of bookies until noticed the injury to goal machine Finnbogason. (He was subbed off for Hakim Ziyech in their last game away to Alkmaar). Anybody know the extent of the injury and if he is likely to start for this game?

Many thanks in advance. Grin

Finnbogason has been ruled out for the match on Saturday. Captain De Roon is also highly unlikely to feature, reports say.

Many Thanks for your help Quatsch. Where did you find the reports if you don't mind me asking?

Cheers again

Well, it was already mentioned immediately after the match against AZ Alkmaar that Finnbogason's injury was quite serious and that it would be difficult for him to recover in time for Saturday's match. By now, it turns out that he won't be playing again this season even if Heerenveen overcome the three-goal deficit and qualify for the next round of the playoffs. Reports of this are on the club's website, VI.nl (that's where I read about it; the website is run by a football magazine sold nationally in the Netherlands) and even on Dutch television ('Ceefax').

Thanks very much Quatsch for getting back. Always on the look out for new football news sites like these for research.

Now I know for sure  he's out maybe this bet is not so good value after all and will probably swerve it.

Cheers again!
