Well after my team Everton did their duty and lost to Man City it was with little hope that I sat down to watch the Liverpool Palace game, I was expecting a 3-0 routine win for Liverpool with a regular penalty to be thrown in also, so with ten minutes to go and utterly bored a little smirk came upon me when Palace scored a goal, when it went to 2-3 I was almost interested but then Liverpool had not had a penalty at that time and then it was enough to make a cripple walk when the third goal went in and the pictures at the end of the game need to be saved for a good old laugh time and time again, Dracula crying his eyes out was priceless and Gerrards face knowing he had cost them the title was another gem, lets not forget the Everton fans gerrard song what a laugh that was too.

I may not be alive the next time they win the title, this was it, the one chance they would get and all being well they totally cocked it up and how they come back from this who knows, lets hope its a relegation fight next year which they lose and then go down the divisions to the conference.

Poor old Gerrard he must be gutted, crying for all the wrong reasons now hey stevie boy.

It does appear the gods have left town for Liverpool at the end of the season as for most of the season they have been like Jason from  Jason and the Argonaughts with Hera helping them out every time they needed a bit of luck and of course a penalty, next year all that luck cant continue and they will not get a chance like the one they had this season for a long long time, well done Chelsea, Well done Everton and thank you Palace now city just need to finish the job, lets hope Hera does not return to town.

What a great night last night was, not had such a laugh for ages.

What I find as a neutral here from an article such as this is how someone's life seems to be mainly focused on how basically over their lifetime their beloved team is generally in the shadows of a close neighbour & their delight in any scraps they may pick up over the years to brag about, when generally over 95% of the time they have little or nothing to gloat over.
You basically gave away your general pain in your relegation to the Conference quote Crazy

I have nothing to hide unlike a NEUTRAL!!!! like yourself, firstly I am an Everton fan and of course being so I am from Liverpool and not Oslo, London or Dublin like most of the other lots fans.

Secondly in all my 49 years I have never ever wanted Liverpool to win any game whatsoever, if they could be relegated, go down the divisions and then end up in the conference and then go out of business then thats the best result i could get,as for my team supported them from a tot, born a blue not made a red, we Everton fans know our place in the scheme of things so dont worry about us, someone asked would I rather Everton finish fourth and Liverpool win the title not a chance not even considered, so hopefully SVEN that gives you my views without you having to read into them to much, best wishes and hope the weather is nice in Stockholm

And another thing did you get a close up of some of them norwegians when it went three three some right types, some looked like they had escaped from an asylum to say the least, looked like they had brought the ward from the real ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOOS NEST.

it is a shame imo. I wouldn't have liked to listen to the pool fans harping on, they are hard enough to bear as it is. But it would have been good for English football and football generally if a club like pool or arsenal could have overturned the oil men

The Oil Men well good luck to them at Everton we could do with a few, but then lets not forget its a gazillion years since scum won the league title and in all that time not many teams if any have spent more than they have, no money, how much did benitez, houllier and dalglish spend between them im guessing here but probably around 600 million thats since 2000 so any liverpool fan going on about money is talking more bollocks than they normally do and thats going to take some beating

I must say it's kind of bittersweet with the millions of threads all taking the p1ss of Liverpool, it at least means we are relevant again, I saw enough posts of neutrals saying they hoped we win the league and we're playing brilliant football to keep me happy. No reason to believe that it can't carry on into next season! The bitters can lap it up while they can, I know myself that you can only get so much joy from revelling at other teams losses, while you're own team is shyte. Next season WE GO AGAIN.

This season had all the luck any team could ever have, had more penalties than the rest of the league put together, all the other teams cannot be this bad next year, everyone now knows how to do Liverpool just follow the special ones method and they then have no idea, champions league games also next season unlike this so how do Liverpool have a better chance next year than this, stevie also has banana boots, how do they get themselves up after coming so close, only way for scumbags is to go downwards and in a hurry, this was the year and season when they had to do it and fingers crossed city put that to bed, anyone under twenty five never seen them win the title and that might now be at least thirty five all being well, stevie is to blame he just couldnt bare winning the title so had to help city out.

Well Manuel we came a lot closer to winning the league than you did and you definitely will not see EFC winning the league in your lifetime.

Well done Palace, they showed INTEGRITY in a game which meant nothing to them. Your side still had a chance of top 4 but rather than go for that your fans were only interested in throwing the game. Tut tut, shame on you.

When all your joy comes from your neighbours team and not your own it's time to call it a day.

Talk about bitter and pathetic.

EFC - small club, small minded fans.

So Manuel, you'd like to see the end of your derby game? Liverpool in the conference? You might support Everton but you aren't a football fan.A diatribe of hate and then you admit to being 49?! I'm not a Liverpool fan, I'm a Palace fan, but I know which ground I'd rather visit. Not an ounce of support from your home fans when we visited you recently until you clawed a goal back. At least at Anfield Liverpool fans give us some back!

EFC are an irrelevance. On the LFC thread I don't think they are ever mentioned. But one look on the EFC thread and you would think its an anti LFC thread with all the bitterness and hatred.

As an outsider Tess is spot on. As for EFC calling Palace a small club, pot and kettle springs to mind....

I must admit to feeling some sympathy for the op here
Personally i'd rather anyone but chelsea or man u win the league
simply fed up with being told how brilliant they were while playing sh!te football
Yes that means mr fergus too
So i was quite open to LFC
However memories of the 80s and LFC dominating made me shudder.
LFC fans i know were well up for a return to that and that sure did put me off.

Everton are a great club, i look forward to the day when they are winning the title again
