What an absolutely fantastic pundit he is. A genuine pleasure to listen to.

Brilliant analyst and far ahead the best but just behind Andy Gray as a co-commentator imho

Great chat from the two of them. At last 2 ex players who can communicate intelligently...

That was top class analysis.

Neville's by far the best pundit around and to be fair Carragher's getting pretty decent as well.

Totally agree.  The first hour of Monday Night Football is now usually better than the game that follows.  Neville, and Carra, on top form tonight.

easy game on screen ,but hasnt nevo been the leader of the pack in labling arsenal as a one trick poney and that he reckons they should toss the ball in now and again and have some potshots,
yet now reckons l,pool should have stuck to the plan that had got them nowhere for 60 mins, and if pool had continued to try and play there way in, i,d have a nifty fifty that nevo would be on tonight saying they should have went longer, tossed it in and have some potshots,
to isolate 3 incidents where it may have been possible to feed suarez in after they had continualy failed for an hour seems pretty stupid to me,but thar ye go, Wink

and of course theres just the 1,01 chance that through 10 blue shirts in these 3 out of countless other incidents they might not have seen surarz free, slightly easier on a 70 inch screen on a monday morning with 20 replays, think he was also slagging off bayern for not changing their game in madrid last week

correct - best ever pundits

The point he was making was that the opportunities to create chances were still there carrying on with the way they usually play. They went too far away from that though and resorted to panic efforts or crosses far too often.

Agree, and he and Carra complement each other very well. Who would have thought them ending up good pals?

Anybody see his sister Tracey after MCR Thunder had won some netball trophy yesterday?

She went absolutely bersek running around waving her arms like she was on speed.

Now you know why the Gary Neville song ends with "Tracey Neville's off her head" etc etc

Agree Berto... always look forward to tonight for their look over the weekend. Thought that was the best yet this season.

cause the opportunities were still there , but it aint hard to go through a video a few times and pick out countless clips where players shoot or cross instead of slipping someone in just as theres countless clips of players trying to slip someone when on reflection they should have crossed it or shot

blimey a sensible reply to FFP....protecting the big clubs and unenforceable.

Isnt it, just protects the big clubs and how it can be implemented is a different story. Looks like a way for uefa to have a bit out of the rich trough. Like a billionaire is going to care about about a fine....
By:

The whole thing was a farce from day one. Like UEFA were going to seek huge money from tv companies and sponsors and then tell them by the way half a dozen of the top clubs in Europe won't actually be competing in it.
By:

I'm guessing UEFA are just going to issue fines and hope none of the clubs pursue it through the courts of arbitration..although apparently PSG have said they will challenge ANY penalty.

I would give Gary Neville the England job.

Honestly can't see PSG bothering too much if it's a fine.

Might have been interesting if Arsenal had finished out of the top 4 because other clubs can challenge if they feel the punishment is too lenient. They strike me as a club that could have done that.

To do that they would have to believe that FFP would stand up in the courts and I don't think anyone really believes that whether Uefa decides to defend their decisions or not....money for old rope this legal business Laugh

your all under nevo,s spell, just for balance after last weeks win at norwich, neville said this,

ive studied the fixtures and because of the way they fall i just cant see a scenario where city can put pressure on l,pool,

they could kick off on monday in 3rd place, is that enough pressure for you nevo, LaughLaughLaughLaugh

When England dont qualify from the group stages,in the World Cup,I would sack Hodgson and appoint Gary Neville and Carra as his right hand man.
