AM were there for the taking tonight - nervous as hell and off form (esp strikers) but Ch just didn't want to know. Could have put the tie to bed tonight - or at least scored - but lack of ambition may cost them. This '0-0 away and win it at home' theory is about 10 years out of date at least!

It's not pretty and it's not exciting but Mourinho certainly knows how to set a team up to get the job done.
No point moaning about it, we all knew as soon as we saw their lineup it'd be a dull boring game. Just back unders and collect your money. |

I'm amazed how critical some media are being of Atletico not looking that good. How easy is it to look good vs a team that does that? I didn't think they were bad, were they dangerous - no, were they the more likely team to score - yes. It's a different game next week I imagine because I doubt Mourinho plays for 0-0 again.

Listening to the 2 commentators you would think that Jose had come up with a new superduper formula,designed and initiated by this genius of a manager,ffs shrink the field size to half it,s intended playing size fill it up with your own players the opposition can,t avoid adding to the fcuking overcrowding hey presto you get a magnificent 0-0 result,what a let down,the fans are the biggest losers.

Sundays result wont matter to JM.If they get stuffed 4 or 5 it will be something along the lines of "they had an advantage they haven`t played in Europe" or "they had longer rest between games",etc,etc.
